The truth is those guys are jobless! They are just normal random guys wey dey normally dey streets. You the kind of boys they call "àwọn ọmọ orí títì".

That's why it's easy for them to always be closeby anytime a real prominent person or yeyebrity is passing by driving an exotic car.

The fact that some of those car owners lower their glass to hand them cash made them to increase in numbers. I learnt from comment section on TikTok that the Olutimi guy was gifted an IPhone 17 Promax and cash to go with it by one of the the people he hailed.

I think that particular incident led to him have competitors straight . Now there are quite a number of them in Ikoyi and that link bridge. I won't be surprised if those NURTW agbero guys start collecting remittance from them on order to allow them continue their "business" without disruption.

Is IBPlc his private company? That company is a fore runner among listed companies in Nigeria. It is a blue chip company with products in the market for five decades. The company has since opened a factory in Onitsha and it is probably the number one employer in the state now. The state representatives are on the board. Then even if it is his private company, he still did the right thing by investing government money in a real company that is a major player in the economy. A company selling billions of naira per annum in Anambra state.

- He abandons the scrap there
- The Police finds the scrap.
- In the end, the scrap is taken to an auction and sold for peanuts (obviously)

Mr B has been monitoring the situation so far. Immediately he sees the scrap for sale in the auction, he buys it. Takes it home and fix those parts he stole.

Now he has a perfect documented vehicle with no worries

Hmmmmm..... While this seems smart, it can only happen in an organized country like the USA. In a country like Nigeria, the thief will be on the losing end.

The moment the police trace the butchered car parts to a particular location, just know that some of those butchered car parts recovered will be missing within the police station.

Most late model apple devices have activation lock down to parts. Ie if you don't have the proprietary tools or licenses you cant assign parts to different devices.

There are tools to write or sync the parts serial no or patent no to the phone
This will make the phone recognize the parts as it components

I imagine if they send all Northerners out of Lagos. The chaos because we won't find truck pushers, loaders etc would be worrisome.

I think the reason for the protest was genuine; It should have been a protest and deadline to deport everyone involved in illegal stuffs, like drugs and the rest. I am sure every neighborhood can find and identify foreigners doing that stuff.

That said, deporting "illegal immigrants" for me can be detrimental, whether the process is genuine or not. There would definitely be an economy in a country like SA, where only these immigrants can fill.

I really hope there are measures to fill that gap. The number of Zimbabweans, Malawians and others that left shows that wahala go dey over time
