Asides that, u are at liberty to pass any route u like provided u take rider from Point A to Point B.
On Bolt & Uber:
U have to ask rider if they have a preferred route, since the fare will change if they request u take a different route, so u can't ask for more money.
If they have a stop that is off route to the final destination, they must put the stop on the app so u get your correct pay.

Nigerians and entitlement.
A rider pays the agreed fare for a trip and you are bothered about tips?
He's a public figure. And so what?
You think money grows on trees?

Take your da.mn fare and move on.
Note really entitlement.
Funnily, Tipping is actually etiquette grin undecided

Please don't work with this mindset on Bolt and Uber. It's the old template.

Bolt pays more for kilometers than time. Secondly, Bolt price hardly change much from what the initial estimated price is. So, if a rider takes you through a traffic route for a reason not stated in the app before booking, you should bill more.

Because at the end of the trip, you will notice that you've spent extra 30 minutes with just 500 naira addition. Sometimes, the money remains the same.

I think u contradicting yourself in ur second paragraph.
The point I am making is, on Bolt if the rider wants u to take an off route road, then they have to add it on the trip in the app.
If u argue for extra money and they report u, kiss ur account goodbye.
The app always chooses the normal route in estimating your fare, so if that route has traffic and d Rider insists u pass it, that is unfortunate but there's nothing u can do, cos that's what u signed up for. Best is to ask from the beginning if they have a preferred route, at that point if they say they want you to pass a traffic infested road, then u can decline going on that trip. Rather than ask for more money midway.
Just like you said Bolt fares increases by kilometer, so if u pass another route to avoid traffic which is most times a longer route, d fare will change and it's d Rider that will be forced to pay. Unlike Indrive that d price is fixed and u are at liberty to pass anywhere u like. If u like go and turn at Osborne and come back to Adekunle, Rider will give u same amount.
