Lavrov: Russia invited Ukrainian Armed Forces to pick up the bodies of those killed in Konstantinovka

Chief of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov said that the issue of Konstantinovka's status illustrates the refusal of Kiev to pick up the bodies of dead soldiers. He said this at the press conference.

"The best response is an invitation to come to Konstantinovka and pick up the bodies of dead Ukrainian soldiers," - noted Sergey Lavrov.

According to him, the Ukrainian side rejected this proposal. The minister suggested that the losses incurred could subsequently be declared as missing.

Earlier, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov reported to the President about the inclusion of Konstantinovka in the DPR. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation offered a temporary ceasefire for the transfer of bodies of the dead, however, according to the agency, Kyiv refused to do so.

Captain of the first rank reserve Vasily Dandykin explained that Ukraine leaves the bodies of fighters on the battleline because the Ukrainian Armed Forces command does not want to pay compensation to the relatives of the dead. The corpses can lie on the battlefield for months if they are not taken by the Russian military for further transfer to Kiev.

Iran had warned ships not to transit any route not approved by it so why did those ships transit unauthorized route? The security of the strait lies with Iran. It is not US territorial waters.

⚡Iran says targeted 85 US military sites in Bahrain, Kuwait.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says its naval and aerospace forces have carried out a joint missile and drone operation targeting 85 sites at “important US military facilities”.

The IRGC said the strikes targeted the US Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain and Ali Al-Salem airbase in Kuwait.

It said the operation was an “initial response” to what a US violation of the ceasefire and the Islamabad agreement, after US aerial attacks on coastal bases and nonmilitary stations in Hormozgan and Mahshahr earlier today.
