Naa only Spain e sure for. The rest anything can happen. Morocco has a chance, they were defeated by France last time, so they will put up a fight this time. England is not reliable. Switzerland knows how to draw and anything can happen in extra time/penalty.

I am shaky about England and Norway head-on, because anything can happen.

That is my only reservation.

They are not better than the Super Eagles and we even saw Nigeria against Morocco at the AFCON.

However, the world cup requires a totally different level of discipline and this goes beyond NFF alone. The players, manager and entire crew must be laser focused from the first qualification match to the world cup matches. Big man attitude due to club level means nothing otherwise Mamelodi or Lesotho players will disgrace you on matchday.

Note .... all games are played during daylight...... except the one with Argentina. Should we expect some "floodlight glitches"? .... as in Argentina goes ahead 1-0 on the 76th minute ... the opposing team comes storming back ... successive runs at goal ... Argentina defense is in panic mode then ... out of nowhere .... blackout... and the match awarded to who was ahead. Possible?

It's FIFA that pays all the participating countries, not the other way.

But, it's football. Sometimes it goes your way, other times, FIFA or the referee go push am go another way.

It's all good.

The only thing this tells me is that Europe still dominates world football with six of eight quarter finalists, Africa and South America having one each, Asia and North America, none despite the fact that the latter is hosting.

Before 2014 Europe has struggled to dominate World Cups hosted outside Europe but it seems this has changed.

Despite the fact that foreigners dominate European leagues and top European clubs they appear unable to translate the improved the technical aspects of the game to sound team, tournament and administrative performances leading me to think that African, Asian and other nationals only venture to Europe for the money, economic migration, rather than the real love of the game and the possibilities of improved performances.

Too bad.

Once you win a world cup, the draws for the next world cup go favor una.

That's the magic of seeding. Before any draw for world cup, the teams are seeded. The higher the seeding, the better your chances.WInning a world cup..better seeding automatically for the next draw. Perform well at all matches , including friendlies in the four years...seeding gets better.

Argentina won copa america and did well in qualifiers. Seeding better.

And even then, a weaker team on paper does not necessarily mean you go win.

Argentina is number 1 in fifa ranking and they are in pot 1 and they will not meet any team higher than pot 4..

When World Cup fixtures came out last year am very sure you are one of those who said Portugal will came out first in their group but at the end na second so that’s why they ain’t on Argentina side in round of 32 instead of Colombia who came out first in their group, had it been Argentina came second they will be in France and Spain group in round of 32
