Anyone Else Having A Bad Internet Connection? by Hungrychicken(op): 10:54am On Jul 08

The internet connection from Airtel and MTN is so bad in my area, that it's becoming un-useable. I remember months ago when this problem started, just like this. I thought it had been resolved. I guess it was just a temporary fix, and that whatever was the issue is now starting to come up again.

According to these ISPs; It was a diesel/petrol, cost of operations problem. I'm guessing it was never fully solved, and now we're going back to the point we never left.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Awsr, my own dey change from E, G, 3G, LTE, 5G then empty. E go come start all over again.

They reset my line from their end after 2 hours it started working fine

I just called them and they said after two hours to restart my device. No changes with the network yet , its still bad and out of service most times

I called customer service, and they asked me to wait on the line for their technical team to try and resolve the problem.
I’m giving it a chance, it’s better than having bad network for 3 days now.

Nothing changed, I still get bad connections and out of services.

The ISPs and Network providers in Nigeria are not held accountable for the seriously mediocre service that they are providing. Serious punishment, fines and sanctions will set them straight. The officials and governing bodies need to do better than this. I was there for just over 2 weeks last month. The service from MTN was barely usable for several hours each day. For someone that depends on a stable internet connection it was really frustrating.

Same here ooooo ... I've been switching from 5g to 4g/3g; switching APN in my router admin dashboard for days ... i thought its my area but now that i see una comments, my mind has calm down knowing fully well, its a general thing.

Seriously, these network providers needs to be sanctioned and made to pay for shitty services they are pushing out.

I pitty those still buy 2g, 10gb data sha cos imagine, downloading a 9.5gb file and network goes bad at 95% huh

Airtel is beyond terrible, you can't even open simple web pages especially in day time.

I'm always unable to browse at my workplace,the network is so terrible. Ordinary WhatsApp message no go enter till I'm back home.It never used to be like this but it's been like this for a while now.
