Akamon:Do you even know what you are asking for? Tariff is to dissuade trades. Imagine tariff is placed on MTN, it means it will be more expensive for MTN to operate, it means they will find ways to make profit regardless, and they'll most definitely pass the cost to the Nigerian customers, you and I. If the tariff is too high and they can't continue to operate, they'll leave, like Shoprite, who's going to fill their void? Same goes for Multichoice, Standard Chartered and others. Issue of tariff on jet fuel, that will only make the jet fuel more expensive for SA to buy from us, making them buy less of it, making us profit less from that trade. And if there is an alternative source cheaper than ours, they'll go for that, we would have successful lost that trade as well, and by implication loose revenue source. How will that be beneficial to the common Nigerian? |

To early for a meeting, let Ghanian gather enough video of SA violence against Ghanian then invite their president and play it for him to defend himself. SA is destroying themselves |

Kobojunkie:Illegal immigrants should be sent back to their respective countries which is a good policy for any reasonable nation. SA citizens created this awareness and Government should responsible for sending the illegal migrants back with the help of the locals but no. the local threaten them to leave and government did nothing about it. if illegal migrants were only the one sent back it would have been better but legal migrants were badly affected and some lives were cut short, businesses and shops were looted. what are the foreign policies SA government outlined as regards to the countries affected? |
| Re: Ghana Rejects Ramaphosa State Visit Request Over Xenophobic Attacks by Kobojunkie: 12:57pm On Jul 08 |
TimiofAbuja:1. First, this is Africa where people still conceive of jungle justice as a right of sorts. I remember Nigerians did pretty much the same thing to he Ghanians during the Ghana-must-Go protests. Second, the same SA government did nothing when the blacks threatened the white citizens with death and I don't recall Nigerians expressing outrage at the treatment of the white South Africans then. So, imagine me not surprised that the same people would dole the same treatment to other peoples. 🥱 2. What you described is crime and for that those impacted are to report to the authorities to get there issues quickly resolved. These sort of things are to be expected. Criminal elements will always try to take advantage of unrest no matter where on the planet . For this reason, countries have law enforcement to address the problem even then. 🥱 3. Countries affected how? What foreign policies? Where the people affected diplomats or something? 🥱 |
| Re: Ghana Rejects Ramaphosa State Visit Request Over Xenophobic Attacks by Kobojunkie: 1:00pm On Jul 08 |
EgbeAbali:Every country has borders and laws. The same way no one has legal support to invade your home and impose themselves on you by that act, Illegal immigrants have no legal support to violate any countries borders and not expect to be booted out. If you can't see that, I can't help you. 🥱 |

Kobojunkie:Yep you haven't been following the news since all these xenophobic nonsense started and yep you probably just arrived from Pluto....don't even bother mentioning me because I don't have time to engage someone who thinks "people that have been killed in the name of chasing illegal immigrants in SA" is all a hoax by the victims themselves and their government who released figures of their death citizens....may help find you soon because I don't know how to describe you for now. ![]() |
| Re: Ghana Rejects Ramaphosa State Visit Request Over Xenophobic Attacks by Kobojunkie: 3:25pm On Jul 08 |
Mattswaggz:I don't follow propaganda! Nothing in the news, both local and international, suggests any of what you claim. ![]() |

Mattswaggz:You said there were extra-judicial killings going on during the protest. Do you even realize the meaning of the term you used? ![]() |
| Re: Ghana Rejects Ramaphosa State Visit Request Over Xenophobic Attacks by Mattswaggz: 3:53pm On Jul 08 |
Kobojunkie:And you've resorted to lies and false accusations....show me where I said anything about any "protest" here?....see just jog on okay because you likes can defend even the indefensible. |

Mattswaggz:The very context of events discusssed here is the so-called Xenophobic protests that have been taking place in South Africa, and in the news lately. ![]() |
| Re: Ghana Rejects Ramaphosa State Visit Request Over Xenophobic Attacks by Mattswaggz: 5:15pm On Jul 08 |
Kobojunkie:And my initial comments was about the extra-judicials keelings that have been going on there in the name of sending illegals immigrants away and not the previous protest.... except of course if you can't read and comprehend English. The relationship between Ghana and SA was already tensed even before the previous protest after their citizens were attacked and some lost their lives....the news was here yet you were pretending not to be aware of such events. ![]() |
| Re: Ghana Rejects Ramaphosa State Visit Request Over Xenophobic Attacks by Kobojunkie: 5:21pm On Jul 08 |
Mattswaggz:Again, where is your evidence of this? ![]() 2. Not according to reports made by Ghana and South Africa to the BBC. ![]() Ghana has postponed a visit by South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa following xenophobic rallies that resulted in hundreds of Ghanaians being repatriated from his country.https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy8dmelnjk7o |

Badgers14:Exactly what I'm lamenting about everything in 9ja is different can't they just sanction them too. The southies are going against unity in Africa imagine accepting whites but dislike blacks later they'll scream racism... Country talking shit on social media full of hate and doesn't value human life. If not that the leaders of Nigeria don't want to help this country. All these people won't see some of our citizens. Is it all our men that's bleeping their babes or is it all wealthy ones that do crime or drugs. They enjoy this things themselves even from their movies they love freaky stuffs. They should first accept blame image sending 60k Zimbabwean or so even trump isn't this harsh. |
