Oh, I fully agree that the concepts of "rehabilitation", "repentance", " reformation" or "reintegration" are all deeply offensive insults to the intelligence of any rational human being, when such words are applied to bloodthirsty terrorist kidnappers and slave-raiders who deserved to be shot on sight and not even captured. A convicted murderer's right to feel remorseful or "repentant" should only be granted AFTER the convict has begun to serve their sentence of life in jail with hard, back-breaking forced labor, or at the point of being hung by the neck on the gallows.
