Even though I believe that Peller is the ultimate olodo uprising after BAT, his unlawful detention simply shows that the NPF is a shame to herself and to Nigeria.

Fame is not above the law. Respect authority, follow due process, and let wisdom guide your actions. Everyone should learn from this and act responsibly.

lol, are you sure Peller is the only olodo uprising star here?

I mean if you don't know that in any sane country, driving a vehicle without a plate number is a serious crime, and then proving stubborn with police when they query you on it is an arrestable offence, then I really don't know if Peller is who you should be thinking about when you mention that word "olodo"

Stteeepid boy. You are driving a tinted SUV without a plate number and a license. You were asked to park for questioning. Instead of you to turn it to friendly jokes, you started screaming and doing live streaming that police doesn't have the right to question you, as how? A governor son or what? Good that he needs brain reset. Olodo uprising chairman. They should also jail him so that he can be a felon and a convicted animal. He won't be easy for him to travel anywhere again. I hate idiot people.

The iGP gave a clear instructions to police on check points to arrest any vehicle without number plate for security reasons.
He is obviously ignorant of current news.

Ignorant of the law is not an excuse.

No matter what any Nigerian must not be detained beyond 72 hrs according to the 1999 constitution, and the 4days makes it 96 hrs undecided if he has a sound lawyer he can sue the NPF
Re: I Spent 4 Days In Police Cell Without Food Or Bath – Peller by Mathain19(m): 3:36pm On Jul 09
Peller should be careful with his self confidence, the society knows him not to be properly grounded in academic, he stepped on toes he shouldn't have, but he can do better by respecting boundaries to avoid being dragged every time..
Re: I Spent 4 Days In Police Cell Without Food Or Bath – Peller by AngelSlay: 3:36pm On Jul 09
If Peller's account is accurate, then spending four days in a police cell without proper access to food or the opportunity to bathe is deeply troubling. Regardless of who you are or what offence you're accused of, every Nigerian deserves to be treated with dignity and in accordance with the law.

This is one of the reasons many Nigerians have little confidence in the police. Too often, there are complaints about unprofessional conduct, abuse of power, poor detention conditions, and a lack of respect for the rights of citizens. Law enforcement should be about protecting the public and upholding justice—not punishing people before they've even been convicted.

If someone obstructs an officer or breaks the law, let the courts decide their guilt. But basic human rights should never depend on whether the person is famous, wealthy, or an ordinary Nigerian.

Hopefully, this experience will spark another conversation about the need for better training, accountability, and professionalism within the Nigeria Police Force. Respect for the law must go both ways: citizens should obey the law, and law enforcement officers should also uphold it.

You people will just be saying all sorts and defending nonsense.... so according to you, if I murder someone and I am caught redhanded, the constitution of Nigeria says the police should not hold me beyond 72hrs abi...chaiiiii

He was CAUGHT redhanded driving a car without a plate, obviously they can charge him for it and hold him till he is put before a judge as clearly the criminal penalty for behaving like a kidnapper is more than 4 days in jail.... but let's keep defending rubbish because this is Nigeria

Are police ment to detained a suspect for more than 24hours without charging them to court? Keep on supporting evil until it happens to u.

Good luck with your suit.
Do you think the Policemen you see on the road have ever seen a copy of the constitution, talk less of reading it?
Policeman wear undersized beret, oversized shoe and trouser, na im u dey talk about constitution.
It seems you have been watching too many movies made in Washington DC.
This is Nigeria.

He did something wrong, instead of him to talk calmly out of the matter to police he started dragging with them. Now he's coming online claiming injustice.
