You're not making it make sense, just insisting. Moving from 18th position to 15th position is an improvement to any sensible person. Pulling out percentile metrics from the thin air doesn't change that. Nigeria is looking good again for promotion to frontier. If it makes you sad, go see a shrink or deliverance minister.

You claimed this is a downgrade because they are now focusing on offshore production. If a company is investing additional 1 billion dollars into an existing business, my dear , it called expansion which is an upgrade. This is because the will need more staff.

My point is, as long as the company they sold their asset to has not stop working and they are focusing more on offshore with an investment of a billion dollars, it is an upgrade.

Ironically you are the one that is not thinking before typing rubbish. There is no expansion for Mobil in j Nigeria they rather streamlined the business they sold off their onshore assets which means they cut down their portfolio in Nigeria. Focusing on offshorw is not an expansion. Mobil is expanding aggressively in Guyana that is expansion not in Nigeria so it is not an upgrade bros.

Again you said Seplat is still working meaning that Nigeria is making money. Yes they are producing but those onshore assets Mobil sold are old producing asset whose main productive years have been enjoyed by Mobil so for them they can afford to sell off those assets to marginal producers like Seplat. If you look at the economics of each asset sold to Seplat, Nigeria's revenue from those assets have reduced over the years as the production life goes by. Why do you think Tinubu is desperate for more onshore well exploration?

Once again you don't understand statistics. Moving up to 15th from 18th position out of let's say 20 in a class is not an improvement you are still in the bottom percentile. Your father can never celebrate you, rather he would be upset that you are not improving and he would want more effort from you to improve. That is the Nigerian situation, anyone hailing the govt on this S&P classification does wish this country well and is simply a praise singer and an eye service merchant for the govt.

Omoh, I weak o. I just returned from ERHA FPSO, operated by Exxonmobil, this week. What are they talking about? And the USAN they're talking about is already a functional rigging offshore facility. They're simply expanding, same way they've been expanding and almost done at ERHA.
