BlackPantherxXx:These are some of the best universities in Nigeria. They’ve churned out countless governors, multiple CBN governors, endless ministers, uncountable SANs and even a president of Nigeria. These universities produced people whose achievements your entire bloodline could only dream of. Then of course, people like you will always expose your ignorance so effortlessly. If you were actually educated and not just pretending to be, you won't be looking down on these institutions simply because they’re in the region you love to hate...... that’s pure illiterate behaviour no truly educated person will do that |

Jakumo:The way I understand it, you need some form of documentation to use a drone of certain capacities. I'd be surprised if ALL drones now require a licence. |

Fiscus105:I'd advice you read again what I wrote. I was never said getting approval for your drone is wrong. My grudge is with the DSS as that is not their duty to arrest a journalist with an unlicensed drone. With the high level of insecurity that shouldn't be their problem. But to score cheap political point and eye service. The bandits are still in our bushes, what are the dss doing about it? |

| Re: DSS Detains Journalist Zainab Sodiq Over Drone by Sccarrr(m): 11:23am On Jul 09 |
Tenses:post it yourself na... besides you said if it's a toy drone or meant for shooting movies, it's ok to fly them as you like, what's sup with Nigeria military law all of a sudden? |
| Re: DSS Detains Journalist Zainab Sodiq Over Drone by Tenses: 11:26am On Jul 09 |
Sccarrr:I didn't say so. I said that the licence for drones where made compulsory because of the escalated insecurity in Nigeria for non military drones that ordinarily do not need approval. Thank you. |

| Re: DSS Detains Journalist Zainab Sodiq Over Drone by Terenga: 12:28pm On Jul 09 |
we are in era of insecurity, bandits, Boko Haram and other affiliated terrorists, so the DSS has to suspect everyone that carries a drone until proven legitimate. I don't blame them, Sha; it's for our good. |

Tenses:Why are you contradicting yourself? You said the rising insecurity is why the government tightened drone regulations and made licenses compulsory so the military can monitor their use. Yet you went on to call Nigeria a failed country. Make it make sense. How does being security-conscious and trying to reduce the risks associated with unregulated drone use equal being a failed country? Isn't that exactly what countries all over the world do to protect their airspace and national security? So why are you acting surprised just because the Nigerian military believes it's the best approach? And people like you are hypocrites. If a major drone-related disaster happened tomorrow, you'd be the first to point to countries with strict drone licensing laws and ask, "Why can't this failed country do the same?" Your hypocrisy is loud... and annoying. 😹 |

Sccarrr:My grudge is with the dss. What business does the dss has with the journalist. There are pressing security issues in the country that need their attention. For instance, it's nearly two months since those kids were kidnapped in Ibadan. |
