Quite frankly, you don't have to wait for MTN to go before you start your AguluTN grin

CJStarz:
No worry, if MTN go, my Igbo brothers will float their own Telecom provider.
We did it during the war, we can do more now.
We'll have Obitel, Edutel, Ebukatel, infact Cubana will join with Cubanatel.
We are Igbos, we fear nothing.

Sound reasoning. This is a productive person. E go be.

Amalekki:
The government will talk to them in the language they understand if they disrupt any legitimate business.

Because we have fools in South Africa, that were rightly called out even in front of the whole world at the world cup, does not mean we should tolerate such in Nigeria. We are not going to score own goal, let South Africa continue to take the heat.

LordLicifer:

We not are interested in their protest, MTN MuSt stay!
lagonovo:
MTN hires Nigerians in large numbers. Be careful what you are asking for.
The protest is a big step in the right direction to tell South Africans that nobody has the monopoly of violence...grin grin grin

I am not surprised the people against this protests are APC rodents who lack the capacity to think for themselves...grin grin grin

They prefer South Africans to continue kpaing their Nigerian brothers while being enslaved by South African businesses in Nigeria, they forget their family members may be the next victim of Xenophobic attacks in South Africa...grin grin grin

South African businesses in Nigeria can be nationalized and their name changed while retaining all employees, this will serve as a political pressure to ensure the attack is stopped...APC rodents are not smart enough to know this...grin grin grin

But it is true what he said.

We?? You and who need to stop south african businesses in other african countries? grin you sure have a wild imagination grin
You don't have families who are affected directly that's why you're sounding like a child..... Na lack of privilege the worry you! And since you don't understand anything about your country being shamed....

South Africa doesn't produce and depend on its resources alone.... They depend on other countries too....

Mind you, salaries of civil servants in Nigeria was deducted many years ago to help assist these folks speaking up today ....

MrPresident1:
What do the Nigerians in South Africa contribute to the South African economy? Where are the Nigerian conglomerates or multinationals or FMGCs in South Africa? Is it only Pentecostal churches, drugs, crimes, and petty business that the Nigerians contribute? The native South Africans can do this by themselves.
.
So why don't they
The foreigners especially the other Africans in South Africa are running a parasitic economy on the Black South Africans. There is no capital inflow, they bring no skills, they upgrade nothing! They just steal the jobs that the natives can do.
.
How do you steal a job?
It's not an iPhone
Years of Apartheid has dulled the senses of native South Africans but they are waking up to the fact that they can control their own informal economy and generate more incomes for themselves, and their households and collect these Jobs from the foreigners who have taken it, have been ungrateful, and turn around to call them lazy, while collecting and sleeping with their women.
.
Why didn't colonialism dull Nigerians and Zimbabwe and minds?
The white people control over 90% of the economy of South Africa while the 10% reserved for Black people have been taken over by foreigners, why won't there be a backlash especially when there is an awakening?
.
So 10% is what they want not 90%?
See thinking
General Amin chased away the Indians when they were controlling the Ugandan Economy and freezing away Ugandans. .
Had Uganda improved
Ghana chased away Nigerians in the 60s,.
Had Ghana improved
Nigeria chased away the Ghanaians in the 80s, .
Had Nigeria improved
why is everyone baring their teech against Black South Africans who are awakening to the reality of their situation?

What do you think? Should economic pressure be used to protest xenophobic attacks, or should the issue be resolved through diplomacy?
Misplaced priority, same students that couldn't protest insecurity, hardship and corruption caused by tinubu government , why should mtn go, nonsense talk, if the country Nigeria is working very well, wetin go make our people jakpa go there, our problem in this country we always treat the symptoms leaving the root cause of our problem.

And so what! The government can systematically force them to sell to other serious investors there are lot of multinational Telcos like Orange, T-Mobile even large Chinese Telecoms who will jump at the offer and no single Nigerian staff in MTN will feel the heat. If Nigeria pull this string I believe that most African will follow suit
It's Sweet to talk like this.

You made a brilliant contribution but still rubbished it with petty politics. It should have occurred to you that those comments are from those who are afraid to lose services of mtn, dstv and co. They don't necessarily need to belong to any party or support the government
