If a member of your family were among the soldiers that sacrificed themselves to go for the rescue, you wouldn't be saying this. Imagine saying the soldiers didn't move a pin.

I just don't get you people. When the kids were kidnapped, you guys screamed to high heavens about it. Now they have been rescued, it is still not enough. What do you guys really want?

Sometimes, I feel like you people do not genuinely love this country; you just want it to burn.

For the sake of those that died in the process, celebrate this good news for once and forget any hard feelings you have about the government now. Someone was beheaded, remember?

The kidnappers requested that the government release their members. If ransom were paid, wouldn't they still insist on the release of those ones?

When Politics Becomes Too Hungry: Atiku's Oyo Statement Misses the Moment.

There is a time to campaign.

There is a time to criticise.

And there is a time to simply thank God that innocent children are alive.

The rescue of the abducted Oyo pupils and teachers should have been one of those moments.

Instead, Atiku Abubakar immediately framed it through the prism of politics, suggesting that the timing of the rescue alongside the APC's campaign activities was somehow suspicious.

Governments do not usually control the exact day intelligence-led rescue operations succeed. Such operations often depend on surveillance, actionable intelligence and operational readiness, not political calendars.

Ironically, Atiku urged that "politics can wait," yet his own statement turned a rescue into a political talking point.

That is precisely what he said should not happen.

Opposition is essential in a democracy.

But so is restraint.

Not every national success should be viewed first as a political loss for the government.

Sometimes, rescued children should simply be rescued children.

That is Obi’s problem: he is his own Chief Demarketing Officer — CDO.

No APC media team needs to work overtime. Just give Obi a microphone, a trending issue, and ten minutes. He will find a way to convert sympathy into suspicion, tragedy into talking point, and minor inconvenience into persecution.

A serious leader would know when to speak, when to pause, and when to simply say: “Thank God the children are alive.”

But Pity-Party Peter always looks for the nearest microphone before looking for the nearest wisdom.

Nobody is afraid of Peter Obi. The problem is that Persecution Peter has confused his followers with endless victimhood until every normal political difficulty now looks like an assassination attempt.

A man with no governor, no serious national structure, no Senate bloc, no House bloc, no stable party platform and no clear northern pathway is not the monster under Tinubu’s bed.

Defeat is staring Panic Peter in the face so clearly that he has turned his 2027 he is now a candidate Who Campaigns With A Handkerchief.

Every party crisis is “they are after me.”
Every legal issue is “they don’t want me on the ballot.”
Every airport parking fine is persecution.
Every critic is paid.
Every question is demarketing.
