I doubt he'd make a lot of inroads in the middle belt. I think that's why he decided to risk it all on the Muslim North, the largest voting block in the country, once again. I think the opposition already lost the election though. Their only chance of winning was if Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso were working on the same ticket. But they chose to go different ways and waste an opportunity.

The only Christian the Muslim dominated north will accept as a VP is one from the south and the president must be Muslim North.

Up north, Christians are not seen as we see them down south.

Right decision. I can't comment about the accusation Shettima is a tacit supporter of terrorism but what we can all see as fact is that he has been an able, loyal, unpromplematic and eloquent VP to Tinubu.

I have watched him engaging with local and international organisations splendidly and with leadership vigour.

Unless he is is a master of taqiyah, his passion for Nigeria and defence for the good work of his boss Tinubu seems 100% genuine.

I believe Tinubu has made the pragmatically correct choice in the sense that "if it ain't broken don't fix it".
