The Chairman of Pacesetters Schools Abuja, Barrister Kenneth Imasuangbon, has predicted that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar will defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election to become Nigeria’s next President. Imasuangbon made the declaration on Sunday at the Graduation, Speech and Prize-Giving Ceremony of Pacesetters Schools, Abuja, Class of 2026. Atiku, who is the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), was represented at the event by his wife, Mrs Amina Titi Abubakar. The ceremony attracted several dignitaries, including the Founder and Pro-Chancellor of Baze University, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed; former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola; former Governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aminu Tambuwal; former Senate President, Senator David Mark; Senator Dino Melaye; former Edo State Governor, Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor, among others. Speaking at the event, Imasuangbon said Atiku had the capacity to defeat the incumbent President in the 2027 election, expressing confidence in his emergence as Nigeria’s next leader. The Pacesetters Schools chairman, however, emphasised the importance of education in shaping the future of young Nigerians, urging the graduating students to remain committed to excellence, innovation and responsible citizenship. Meanwhile, Atiku, through his wife, charged the graduates to avoid social vices capable of derailing their future aspirations. He urged them to shun prostitution, drug abuse, drug trafficking and other criminal activities, warning that the pursuit of quick wealth could destroy their dreams and reputation. Mrs Abubakar recalled the disturbing cases of Nigerian girls trafficked into prostitution abroad, particularly in Italy, noting that such experiences contributed to the establishment of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) during her husband’s tenure as Vice President. She encouraged the students to use their education as a tool for personal growth, national development and service to humanity. Also speaking, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed urged the graduates to reject shortcuts to success, stressing that academic certificates alone were not enough to guarantee achievement. Baba-Ahmed said character, discipline, integrity and commitment to societal development were essential ingredients for lasting success. According to him, education goes beyond obtaining certificates, as it should prepare individuals to contribute meaningfully to society. He advised the graduates to continually seek knowledge and personal development, noting that true education progresses from literacy and formal learning to participation, contribution and leadership. Similarly, former Senate President Senator David Mark advised the students to embrace lifelong learning and remain adaptable in a rapidly changing world. Represented by former Military Administrator of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Tunde Ogbeha, Mark urged the graduates to uphold honesty, discipline and good character, describing these values as critical to achieving lasting success. In his remarks, Imasuangbon said Pacesetters Schools remained committed to producing graduates who are independent-minded, creative and equipped with entrepreneurial skills to create opportunities for themselves. He explained that the school’s philosophy extends beyond academic excellence, as students are trained to develop critical thinking, resilience, leadership abilities and problem-solving skills. He urged the Class of 2026 to remain disciplined, uphold the values acquired in school and strive for excellence in their future endeavours https://tribuneonlineng.com/atiku-will-defeat-tinubu-in-2027-imasuangbon-predicts/ |

This is visible to the blind but he should be careful so the vindictive Paul Biya wannabe with a very fragile ego does not go to shut down his school. |

AMINDA:Seriously? Paul Biya's been in charge for over 50 years, starting as vice prime minister. Tinubu's only been president for 3 years, but the witches in your village already told you he'd be there for life. Is it hatred or dullness that has made you like this? |

loffyloffy:In that same three years, the PDP, the Labour party and the NNPP that all fielded candidates who secured millions of votes each have all being destroyed while attempts are still being made to disenfranchise viable candidates from being on the ballot. The signs are there and are visible to the blind, except for the naïve or the ones pretending to be asleep. |

BATified2023:Exactly. We are only saying that it's rather conspicuous that the PDP, SDP, LP, NNPP, Accord party, ADC and even the newly formed NDC are all making mistakes. Such mistakes were not made under previous presidents. Feel free to bury your head in the sand, but don't expect us to do the same. |

AMINDA:If he were 40, I'd probably agree with you. The Tinubu I'm seeing will almost certainly win a second term, but there's no guarantee he'll finish it before old age catches up. So you can go back to the witches in your village and tell them to cool temper |

loffyloffy:He governed Lagos over 20 years ago but has refused to hands-off the state. You must be underestimating the level of greed and covetousness. A frail mind and body did not deter Mugabe. It's not deterring Museveni and Paul Biya. |
