1.Why does it have to do only what other countries before it have? undecided

2. For over 1000 years, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, and Egypt practiced something close to the Blancheamiento. They are openly racist against their fellow black Africans, and they are proud of it, too. Ishowspeedy was openly heckled and called a monkey in one of those countries. No one says much of it. undecided

In South Africa, black Africans are racist against their White African brothers as well. The same things happened in Zimbabwe. Many of the white Africans in those two nations had to flee the country... 1000s of them in just the last 2 decades alone. undecided

What is clear is that racism goes beyond just one color. Everyone or every group engages in it, and no one group can claim they are the only victims in this. undecided
Well, It would seem other countries try to hide it or a little bit ashamed of it while Argentina seems proud of it. Can you find a country with this type of headline below

? None of the countries I mentioned did any of what they did in hiding. None of them admitted to being ashamed of any of what they did. You instead chose to hyperfocus on Argentina in this case, probably in a bid to virtue signal or make yourself feel good about your discovery. We all get that way sometimes. 😒

2. Yes, all of the countries I mentioned had similar reports in the papers of those times. In the early 2000s, for example, every other paper out of Zimbabwe had the government castigating and blaming whites for all of the issues the blacks suffered. As for the history of blacks in Morocco, Egypt, Algeria... that's also not hidden. undecided

Reading these comments below, and knowing their very racist nature, without Messi will you still be cheering for Argentina?? cheesy
Africans don’t really travel to Argentina and why we don’t hear about racisms from that end. All I have heard has never been positive.

Heard the damn racist and even the native blacks in their country are as good as erased. They don’t even like mixing up with other South Americans and believe they are westerners. Why they are detested by their own neighbors.

Of a truth, the answer is NO.....apart from Messi, the only Argentinian player that was fascinating recently was Di Maria(now retired) and probably De Paul(due to his love for Messi) and maybe J.Alvarez.......I am not a fan of the rest of the squad hence without Messi, my support is gone. cool
You speak the mind of 90% Nigerians. Brazil, next dior to Argentina, has lots of blacks

You should provide
" I've never supported Argentina Before either with him or not. " as part of the voting Options.

What do you know about racism? Nigerians racist?

Nigerians that can eat and drink with anybody! A Nigerian will sit next to anybody irrespective of tribe, colour, religion or ethnicity.

You don’t know what they call racism and why you say Nigerians are racist.

Visit port harcourt and see how Europeans and Americans have almost turned to natives.

➜So how come Arab countries have some blacks playing, but Argentina emphatically doesn't and very proud of it?
All of those Arab countries, for over 1000 years, used blacks(over 10 million of them) as slaves to fight their many wars, plow their fields, and service their libidos. Yet, not a single one of those same Arab countries to date has a black population of more than 10% to date. And you never thought that was odd? undecided

Saudi Arabia: Afro-Saudis, who often trace their ancestry back to the Arab slave trade or historical pilgrimages, make up approximately 10% of the country's citizenry.
Yemen: Afro-Yemenis and marginalized groups of African descent (such as the Al-Akhdam) constitute an estimated 2% to 10% of the population.
Iraq & Jordan: Both countries have smaller but long-established Afro-Arab populations, making up generally low single-digit percentages of their overall demographics
The Gulf States: In countries like the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar, the Black population also includes a high percentage of recent Sub-Saharan African expatriates and migrant workers.

Good question. How many white players are in Nigeria next door. Then compare to how many black players are in Brazil next door

you make a very valid point, why i like messi is just that he knows how to play football

With ot without Messi, I cant support Argentina.
Football: They dont play fair.
It is also one of the most racist country in the world..so racist they have refuge to Nazi soldiers fleeing Europe after 2nd world War 2. Several decades after, nothing has changed.
But you do have to acknowledge the greatest to ever play the game, regardless

People that killed all their black slaves coz they don't want to have blacks like America, Mexico, Brazil

Go and read their history

Used to have a friend from there and she admitted that there is a lot of Racism in their country
They used them as cannon fodder in their war for independence, putting them in front unarmed, then decimated them in other ways, then imported waves of whites. Genius but diabolical
Re: Without Messi, Will You Still Support Argentina? by franvincoop: 9:36pm On Jul 12
Yes, it had different names
USA - segregation under Jim Crow
UK - puritanism under Oliver Cromwell
Germany - The Nuremberg Laws
Latin America - Mestizaje/Blancheamiento

Don't come here blaming only Argentina, the whole American continent had official state whitening policies except Haiti.

CanadaOrBust:
But has any other country ever officially instituted "Blancheamiento" (whitening) state policy as shown below?
Suppose SA whites had done same? They'd just deport those SA blacks to other African countries and import whites from all over the world and today SA will be all white. Also, from what I read, Argentinians seem proud of being racist, unlike most countries!

I cannot support anyone from a racist country.

A country with no Black man, or black players and yet we have people worshipping them, more like Nigerian slaves who worship Messi

Capital no.

They're not necessarily hating them, they just want them to go home because they're more hardworking and therefore preferred by employers
