I have been having swollen feet for the past 2 months. The swelling initially used to go down after a few days but has now stayed put for the past 3 weeks. The swollen areas are also hard to touch and darker than the surrounding skin. Please what should I do? Thanks. May God bless you and all yours.

It’s called Edema…. Reduce your salt intake, but please visit the hospital for proper medical evaluation. |

Use Clindamycin 600 mg (3x/7days) if u can't find 600mg, get 300mg (6x/7days). Also get Clobetasone ointment .005 % apply to the leg 2 times a day for 5 days . Adeboyefa: |

AllBlack:Well that was what my doctor friend advised my late mum before we went to the hospital the following day and that seemed to had worked! Besides, I did say she should see her doctor firstly, why did you not quote that? |

Oblongata:You should have stopped at the doctor part. I didn't need to quote it. |

Please don't do this!! Go to the hospital first, abeg. Don't joke around with antibiotics when your body is clearly telling you that some htings are not well. Seyrexolad: |

THIS IS A SIGN OF KIDNEY PROBLEMS. YOU BETTER GO TO SEE YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. IF YOU ARE OLD, ITS PROBABLY KIDNEY ISSUES. CHECK IT OUT WITH A DOCTOR BEFORE IT AFFECTS YOUR EYESIGHT. IF LEFT UNTREATED, IT CAN LEAD TO GLAUCOMA. |
