If you see it as obsession, then fine.... But love is something you can't control. When you find it, you will definitely allow yourself to wallow in it. For now.... I rest it..

Seriously, learn to THINK. It will free you from living by instinct like an animal. For example it will free you from the irrational obsession with DNA. Thinking will let you see that what makes a person your son and you their father is NOT sperm!

I'll prefer to refer to it as love rather than addiction.... Addiction is negatively viewed while love is unconditionally acceptable for feelings and doing without the person you vowed to spend the rest of your life with.

Unfortunately it is NOT love. I've actually heard a couple say they won't leave each other because the other one may find true happiness with someone else! I'm not saying it is bad. I'm truly not sure if it is better to let yourself get addicted to another person or not.
