"Please Save Us": Nigerian Woman Alleges Girls Are Deceived Into Prostitution in Mali, Appeals for Rescue

A heartbreaking video circulating on social media has sparked outrage after a Nigerian woman made an emotional appeal for help from what she claims is a camp in Mali where trafficked Nigerian girls are being held.

In the video, the woman alleges that some Nigerian women lure young girls with promises of jobs and better opportunities in Mali. According to her, the victims are told they will be able to work and earn a decent living.

However, she claims that upon arrival, they are taken to a makeshift camp and forced into prostitution while their "madams" collect the money they make.

The woman also shared the story of another Nigerian woman at the camp whom she said had already completed paying the money demanded by her madam but remains stranded because she has no means of returning home. According to the speaker, the woman is pregnant and has become mentally unstable as a result of the trauma she has endured. At one point in the video, she points the camera toward the pregnant woman while explaining her situation.

Throughout the video, the speaker repeatedly pleads for help, calling on the Nigerian government and relevant authorities to rescue them from their situation.

The footage, which shows crude shelters made from black plastic tarps and wooden poles in a dusty rural area, has triggered emotional reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing concern over the alleged exploitation of young women.

Watch the video and listen to her emotional appeal above.

The blame goes to parents, government and negligence of duty by our immigration officers.

Wen they tell you people back home, are you listening?

People love to learn from their own mistakes rather than from advice of others.

I do not believe these people. I think they lie for a living.

With all the warnings and awards over forced Labour in Libya and North Africa, over 4-5yrs ago, you still say you didn't know what you went to do in Mali?

What exactly fascinated you in Mali?

With all the news about rebel seizing territories, economy in shambles, and vast desert, how did you end up in Mali if not for what you are now crying foul about?

The vulnerability of this gender is becoming alarming every day. The same method, the same style, they become victims, now the cries becomes pathetic to us but not the appropriate authority whose aim is to steal wealth.

So many things is not right here
How do they get electricity?
Do the men, come there to meet the girls/ladies. Or how do they do this prostitution in those huts?
If they don't have electricity, then how did she get a smart phone to make the video, and also internet connection?

Am just curious 🤔 though

Anyone still claiming "trafficked for prostitution" in 2026 is a liar. They know...just that they didn't know how worse it could get. They thought that it is like olosho business in Nigeria where they may have options.

In a nation of over 200 million people you should expect a few aberrations here and there. With all our noise, Nigerians no reach 600,000 in America. A few hundreds in Mali is okay, they are exploring the world except if they are real victims of trafficking.
