On Wednesday, July 15, 2026, popular Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), paid a high-profile visit to the palace of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, the Oluwo of Iwo in Osun State.

The visit followed a personal invitation from the monarch after an extensive video call where the two discussed national progress, transparency, and the fight against corruption.

VDM, making his first trip to Osun State, was greeted with a grand royal reception featuring a red carpet welcome, enthusiastic crowds of supporters (Ratels), and traditional pomp.

Decency refers to behavior that is moral, polite, and respectable, reflecting a genuine respect for others. It encompasses observing accepted societal standards, practicing good manners, and doing the right thing out of a strong sense of personal character rather than fear of punishment.
