Praktikals1000:The reason a lot of people are now against Obi is because people are getting to know him well enough. He seems to base his ideology purely on deceit and Nigerians are getting to know him better. Of course that will seriously affect his performance in the 2027 election but he will claim he has been rigged out. He will be ok last last sha. |

amaridigital:Yes other states do also collect federal monthly allocations but can't be compared to what lagos has received due to it's former status as nigeria's capital, some of the states in the niger delta where the resources are coming from are even heavily cheated by the nigerian state that only gives them 13% of the proceeds of their God given oil and gas resources while the rest 87% is used to develop places like lagos and abuja, only an ingrate will completely dismiss federal govt massive contributions in the infrastructural development of lagos state. |

Mrexcell:What should be your concerns should be how much is your state generating into the federal pool,is your state not competing with bokoharam invested state in poor revenue which place your state as leeches in Nigeria |
| Re: Margaret Obi Dancing At An Event In Lagos by aswani(m): 7:49am On Jul 16 |
Mrexcell:Only people with longer throat will dismiss Awolowo and Mobolaji Johnson's massive contributions to the infrastructure to the development of most of Lagos. Contributions that turned a lof the metropolis into a favoured location for outsiders to come to and for which some have lost their minds over. Well one particular noisy ingrate group at least. |

Mrexcell:Even if at just 13% derivation the question to ask is how the benefitting states have utilised these specific earnings. Lagos state is one of the least dependent on federal allocations as its funds itself overwhelmingly from IGR being a commercial hub. Really though how does Margaret Obi dancing at an event tramslate to political news. Is this a political event or random other social gathering. |

Praktikals1000:very unpresidential because she is happy dancing. How myopic u are, because her husband is contesting for presidency. She should not dance or be happy. What of ur first lady that is going around in the face of hardship and terrorism campaigning for her okpolo husband..I hope u have started your akara and kwuli kwuli buisness |
| Re: Margaret Obi Dancing At An Event In Lagos by Christistruth00: 8:02am On Jul 16 |
Mrexcell:Let us be honest with you Whatever FG is putting in Lagos is less than 5% of what FG got out of Lagos Let FG just start by returning the 150 years of Port and Seme Border Customs Duties and Taxes it still Owes Lagos and see if Lagos will not surpass Dubai. Lagos was already an Economic Power before the British turned up to Colonise Nigeria. The British even built Nigeria off the Back of Lagos |

THIEFNIBU is the total DISASTER we know, not OBI, the Sarki Salama himself. All we demand is nothing but a free and fair election, and your THIEFNIBU will collect again even in the Aso Rock, then you will know OBI is never called one Man riot for nothing. SHAMELESS apCHEAT supporters, even when the failure of their druggie, mumu president with absolutely nothing to offer is, written all over. Una go cry tire 😎 TopBanter: |

Ttalk:I don't think any state in the south is actually a leech they have one or two natural resources that can sustain their economy if completely left to them to control go do ur research properly and stop using the current igr they generate to rate them. |

[quote author=Explore2xmore post=140043249]Even if at just 13% derivation the question to ask is how the benefitting states have utilised these specific earnings. Lagos state is one of the least dependent on federal allocations as its funds itself overwhelmingly from IGR being a commercial hub. Am talking about the mega infrastructures that the federal govt built in lagos with nigeria's common wealth and not the monthly allocations there's no oil producing state that u will find infrastructures like the third mainland bridge and the murthala muhammed international airport. |

Moreze:You don't have shame otherwise you won't be comparing someone who is using his foundation to empower people with someone who is wasting her husband money in a strippers brothel inLagos in the dead hour of the night. |
| Re: Margaret Obi Dancing At An Event In Lagos by Ttalk: 8:19am On Jul 16 |
Levels1:If she becomes first lady na to dey do empowerment for. Strippers and club dancers go be her priority God forbid bad thing |
| Re: Margaret Obi Dancing At An Event In Lagos by Mrexcell(m): 8:19am On Jul 16 |
Christistruth00:You forgot lagos is not the only state with access to seaports other states also do have such leverage but the federal govt choosed lagos to develop it's ports and also gave lagos ports monopoly over other ports in nigeria. |
