She was no more a physiotherapist, but now a nurse.
This after Physiotherapy Association of Nigeria has said she was not a physiotherapist registered.
Very soon, the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria will also disclaim her.
Umahi claimed she had worked closely with him for three years. Is Umahi a nurse or a doctor?
The more Umahi talks the more he ropes himself in.

By the way, what on earth would make her father refuse autopsy on her, if not that millions of Naira have been paid him to close the case since his daughter was already dead?

Speaking at a press briefing on Thursday, Umahi said the deceased was like a daughter to him. Umahi said Habila had worked closely with him for about three years and was like a daughter to him and his family. The Minister clarified that Habila was a nurse employed by the David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences, Ebonyi State, and not a physiotherapist.

Anita Baaki, a close friend and colleague of Habila, had earlier narrated circumstances leading to her death.
In an affidavit sworn before the Ebonyi State High Court on Wednesday, she recounted the final hours she spent with the deceased.
According to the document, Baaki travelled with Habila and other Ministry Staff from Abuja to Ebonyi on June 24, 2026, for official assignments.
They were reportedly accommodated in separate but adjoining rooms at a staff chalet located within Umahi’s country home in Uburu, Ohaozara LGA.

IF ACCORDING TO DAVID HABILAL WAS A STAFF WITH THE TEACHING HOSPITAL, WHAT BUSINESS DID SHE HAVE WITH THE MINISTRY OF WORKS AND DAVID'S HOUSE WHAT KIND OF OFFICIAL DUTY TOOK THE LADIES TO DAVID'S PRIVATE RESIDENCE

Baaki stated that she last saw Habila alive on the evening of June 26, after the nurse had returned from having her hair done.
Habila reportedly visited Baaki’s room and complained of exhaustion. “Mary told me she was tired and wanted to take a shower before sleeping. That was the last time I saw her alive,” the affidavit read.

Baaki said she became concerned the following morning when Habila did not come out of her room as expected.

IN SUMMARY, THERE ARE INCONSISTENCIES, CONTRADICTIONS, AND GAPS IN THE NARRATIVES. BUT IT IS CONSOLING THAT GOD, WHO IS THE JUDGE OF ALL PEOPLE, WATCHES AND WILL DISPENSE JUSTICE AT HIS OWN TIME. MOST HUMAN BEINGS ELECT NOT TO FEAR GOD. THAT IS A SURE HIGHWAY TO THE LAND OF PERDITION.

This is why Nigeria is where it is. Always finding a way to blame the victim. Even if she was a prostitute, no one has a right to take her life. None! The fact of the case is NOT prostitution! Suspicious death is the case here!

In advanced nations, the justice system focuses on the crux of the matter which is her disturbing death in the residence of her host. Whether she went there to prostitute is totally off the table! We must lift ourselves to this level of humanity where the focus is the sanctity of life.

Which one be wrong place at the wrong time? A prostitute is still a human being. If you pay for her services, you must ensure she returns to her base unharmed. It is a simple deal! To see her death as not worth seeking justice for merely because we feel her movements were not morally justifiable is in itself an evil.

A wicked nation is what we have become! Blood spilled and almost every male suddenly thinks it should slide because she wasn't moral enough. SHAME!
