Suspected murder is a state case that requires autopsy to resolve. The father can only wait until the matter is dispensed with. The way the man is behaving is suspect.

They don't have right over the matter again, government have taken the case, the father should be a suspect too because the very day a child is delivered and obtain birth certificate, he or she has become government property, anything that happened to him/she law of the land will ask the parents questions.
May The needful happen to you and your family

Police release their child body to them is it by force to do autopsy? Her family say give dem their daughter body then give it to them or yu wan chop am or wat?
Arrant nonsense, once someone dies in a questionable manner in such an high profile case as this, then it's a norm to do autopsy to find the cause of the death. The family is under duress hence the insistence by the dad.

No child is government property. The government's interest does not go beyond whether a crime was committed in her death.

They ought to call it coroner's inquest and not an autopsy, especially given the hazy circumstances of her demise. The the inquest could reveal if she died a natural death or otherwise; if cause of death is indeterminate or foul play is probable then an autopsy may be recommended by the coroner to establish actual cause of death.

The inquest should involve anyone who was around her close to her final moments, including the principal of the residence, i.e. the minister himself.
We are still in the same line, all these processes you outlined are based on the law of the land, the agencies that are going to carry out these processes are under government. That is to say that every citizen is a government property, government must ask questions if anything happened to you suspiciously.

Umahi, is that you? 😳

Why are you getting worked up, sir?
What are you afraid of? That the truth will come out?
This is why I like countries that are civil. The circumstances of the lady's death warrant immediate autopsy but here in Nigeria, our system is always fishy. After they will keep saying we're giant of Africa. Tuae!

The man is gradually working his way into the suspect list all by himself. He will quickly realise the need to obtain legal counsel.

Perhaps for an investigative security record a completely non-invasive postmortem examinations could be done. This preserves the body and includes tests such as an external examination, CT and MRI scans, X-rays, ultrasound, photography, and 3D imaging. Together, these methods form a virtual autopsy (virtopsy), which can identify many injuries and diseases without dissection. Needle biopsies and fluid sampling are considered minimally invasive.

1) physiotherapist

2) The late Mary Habila's colleague said she retired to her room after coming back from the salon when they gisted for the last time.

3) bleeding from the nose.

4) association of physiotherapist denied her.

5) mary parents don't want investigation

Umahi Umahi Umahi, You will answer all your sin one day.
They said she was bleeding from the nose, and she called her boyfriend that was remotely far away. Hmmm... imagine someone dying from nosebleed and the person would not alert people around, even her friend that was in the next room. Hmmm.

in a sane society and not like useless country like Nigeria, the government will take over the case to ascentain the cause of death in order to avoid further occurrence. Umahi suppose to be in a custody while investigation goes on

Yes, he doesn't need it, this Nigeria. And this case involved a big politician who will not want his name written in the black book. However, the best way to kill the case will probably buy the family off.

But if nothing happens to you, or there's no reasonable grounds for suspicion, the government has no business with you. Millions of people die of natural causes and road crashes every year, does the government go around claiming cadavers for autopsy?

You're a free individual required to obey laws, but you're not the property of the government.

As if they will publish the real results of the autopsy.
The girl was murdered hence the blood from her mouth.
The man wants his daughter, no parents wants to see their child go through such embarrassment
The dead don't feel embarrassed. They know nothing about what's going on. If not she would've covered her unclothedness before Sahara Reporters got there.

Autopsy is by consent not by force. Police should by matter of urgency release the body for burial. The family has agreed to burial their daughter, why are they holding her?
