Man, I feel the struggle with the spam filters. Honestly, even with scanners like RoboSAM, I’ve found that most "unsolvable" software sluggishness usually boils down to bloated startup entries.

If anyone’s PC is crawling, check your msconfig or Task Manager startup tab before going nuclear with a reformat. Half the time it's just ten different "updaters" fighting for RAM.

Also, a quick tip for the malware stuff: if the scanner won't even open, try renaming the .exe to something random like pudding.exe. Sometimes that's enough to trick the process-killer scripts in the malware.

my candid advise. No waste money to fix this cux it'll cost you much to the extent of getting that same old pc. This your Pc is like a 4th generation

I need help with procuring a replacement battery and fan for my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme Gen 3

I need to replace my PC's internal fan and battery.

It's a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme Gen 3

Serial number: PW-00D7TH
Type number: 20TK-001GUS
Fan part number: 5H40Y67588
Battery part number: 5B10X19049

It's been faulty for over a year now, and I've had to use an external fan since. The only plug I had at Computer Village is tired of me. He told me he couldn't find the fan in the whole of Computer Village. He even offered to help me order the fan online, but it didn't work out. This was last year.

I tried several other places, even as far as Hinckley Group, but couldn't find a replacement for the fan. Lenovo doesn't support ordering replacement parts from Nigeria. Prices I'm seeing on third-party platforms like Amazon and eBay are off the roof, and I still don't have any guarantee that I'd be getting value for money, probably because I'm not in the business and I don't have a plug for parts.

So I abandoned the search and relied on my external fan. But it couldn't entirely replace the internal fan, and the PC overheating slowly killed my battery.

If anyone can help me get an original replacement fan and battery at a decent price, I'd be very grateful.

Go buy another laptop and sell that one for parts.
