How long did it take you to earn your first ₦1 million in actual profit?

I made my first 1 mill at 29 few days before my birthday as a media consultant. But that time 1 mill was big becuase I bought a car around 600k. After 5 years, the spirit of that money is still remaining, I still have change from that deal. Between January and April this year, I made about 6 mill...but I can't remember what I used the money for aside getting a good system of about 1.4 mill. I can't account for the money

Life was really difficult for those of us that didn't have family inheritance.
I made my first N1m at exactly 40 years old, 14 of August 2022 to be Precised.
The money was about N1.3m and to my surprise, three weeks later the same year, I made another N1.9m.
In short, I made about N4.6m within 4 months that same year, I'm now 44 years old and God has been faithful.

Nature of business ?

There are 4 types of 1million.. so depends on the one you mean

Pre-1999 one million naira (=$11,300)
Pre-2015 one million naira (=$5,000)
Pre-2023 one million naira (=$2,778)
Post-2023 one million naira (=$714)

I have been saving and am still saving. Havent saved even upto half a million.

10 months..when 1m still has value, as far back as 2008

I have two friends who have made N30m and N40 at once in the past, they're both broke now and unmarried.
On the other hand, I am married with three kids and surviving.

Why bringing in your friends that made millions before and got broke ? I know you know other guys that made millions back then and still making it today. Even still married but you didn’t use those ones as examples. Lol

I never see 100k in my life

Still searching for the right way, thought miracles would eventually occurs,,,all things just seem so tough and hard .I recalled 2019by then how I managed and got my 500k I was like spending without knowing what I were using it for if not the farm land which I bought that was all. but right now I don't see any amount up that any more not talked of 1m, however I'm at my twenties.

Not mocking anyone tho, I'm just surprised.

Made my first one million at age 21 in 2008 selling ebooks for 2k. Sold about 600 copies after running an advert on one newspaper that year, Success Digest paper. Adjust that to inflation and it should be over 10 million Naira today.

I have made several tens of millions over and over and over again and gotten broke over and over and over again since that time. Going broke, getting back up, going broke again and getting up. Now I am up again, hopefully I wont go back broke again.

Its been one hell of a journey.

I have never made a million, I only kept it for someone. And I am over 40. And currently, I am a broke man. I sometimes feel unfortunate.

My father made that biggest mistake in his life. He made lots of money in Port Harcourt that year of 70s and early 80s and he couldn't even invest in lands or even built a house then, didn't planned for tomorrow when the money was coming. Today he is older and living in poverty.

You are still young na. Keep pushing and always keep a positive mindset. Mindset matters a lot too!

Omor i just dey run back and forth inside 1 million naira, he no dey ever increase enter other millions. If he wan increase, house rent or village things go decrease am again back to the same amount.

Had it been my father left some assets, today i for don hail some take guard but nothing to show for.

Work is a bit slow this period. The list I am making now is about 1m in 2weeks. That 1m a month but the real work stretch is 2weeks. I make alot of money sometimes. I did a job for 9 days and made about 11million naira.

Also I am entering my money making months. Usually ending of the year. Made my first 1 million at 25. Actually it was more than 1million. I am 29 now. Bought a c300 2014 and Acura MDX 2012.

I was like this ops in 2019, that year was terrible for me, serving my uncle 10 years and was settled with just 50k, as if it is not enough I lost my mother 2 months later,
the little they gave me I spent it on hospital and burial...

To make money is one thing but to save money is 5 times more difficult .
That is the only reason people remain poor, to save requires skill.
There are a lot of business individuals including small businesses, making over 10k profit a day from their business but has never saved up to 1m for many years . They are still believing God for miracles but what they lacked was vision and a savings plan.
10k daily is already 300k in 30 days.
If anyone can save at least 3k a day , they will be able to save 1m+ in one year and expand.
