My Chief I even forgot about the charging aspect ..since they are paying for the charging they would need to be making nothing less than 80k.. If a driver does not have a charging unit in his home then he needs to make about 85-90k because he needs to pay transport to pick up the car from the charging station in the morning ..pays transport back home when he closes for the day . sammiejr: |

Pearl1910:Driving 12-14hrs to meet up 40K daily target is not going to end well. Even as a Private Petrol Engine car owner i make 40-50K daily after Apps commission & Fuel on 4-5 trips, imagine me remitting that and going home empty handed. Long hours driving is bad for the car & driver. If you start it na to regret am later |

I love the part you said 40K remittal is still achievable despite the drawback This is why I always state EXPERIENCE DRIVERS STILL GROSS OVER 80k < 10 TRIPS ...NEWBIES THAT ARE SMART TOO GROSS 80k There are top drivers in our fleet that hit 80k after bolt expenses between 5-7 trips . It's all Experience , Grace and favour . Pearl1910: |

sammiejr:Yes u have a good point. The battery is d number 1 concern. My guess is that they are already inefficient that's why they are being sold off. But even if they are still good, the remaining good life left is less than 5yrs. But if u really want to use electric vehicles, I will advise you go for a vehicle that has its fuel engine counterpart. So that body and suspension parts will be readily available. Example is the Changan vehicles. Definitely the Fleet will not agree to bear the responsibility of changing the battery if and when it collapses so no need building bridges in d air. Best is to avoid this kind of offer. Even me I have a plug that can deliver 2020-2022 electric vehicles to Nigeria for about 10m, but haven done my due diligence, lack of spare parts will really affect the smooth running of the business so for now we are pursed on that. |

Kaymaxi2222:The driver paying for charging around 15k daily and still drops 40k daily on rent is madness. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 10:35am On Jul 16 |
Eazilyfe:No, I thought he will not have to pay for charging and fuel. So it's just like paying that ur fuel money like HP payments. U still go home with 30-40k . But if he has to still pay for charging then it's a NO NO |

Kaymaxi2222:Wow I do 50km distance work for 20k on indrive. With this, it means one can gross 100k at least with 10k CNG. |

Also this is only possible if u buy where there is high pressure. Kaymaxi2222: |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 1:09pm On Jul 18 |
These pressure u guys are always hammering on, is overrated. If there is no high pressure, it just means ur cylinder with less amount because less gas was able to get in, n u pay less for a full tank. But if pressure is high, then more gas can be fitted into d tank so u get to buy more gas. It's not like u are paying for more pressure or less pressure cyif2003: |

Shimmaa:is this minus pickup distance? or typo? Because 50km for 17 liters seem poor |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by obacasmir: 4:24pm On Jul 18 |
Exactly. Very poor.[. That's like going to ozone cinemas from chevron and back... quote author=feran15 post=140067523] is this minus pickup distance? or typo? Because 50km for 17 liters seem poor[/quote] |

Pearl1910:You are absolutely correct but sometimes if u have a big cylinder like 100L and u buy from a low pressure station it squeezes some gas that is unreliable in a sense (being of note that the difference in price for same scm in high pressure station is not up to 1k) cause as u r driving out of d station and before reaching sometimes 5km a bar had reduced unlike if u bought at that maybe 1k extra which is not even up to and u can drive as much as 25km on that bar Generally is best to buy for high pressure saves u time and money |

obacasmir:Do you understand my comment at all? I said I do a 50km distance work for 20k. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by obacasmir: 8:43pm On Jul 18 |
Ooh that is what you meant? Now I get.. Even at that, you mean you go to ozone from let's say chevron drive and back for 20k? Isn't that even more ridiculous? Shimmaa: |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Shimmaa: 9:42pm On Jul 18 |
obacasmir:I don't do it that way, it has to be single trip.. From berger to chevron or ikota. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by tipsy242: 10:27pm On Jul 18 |
obacasmir:But to be candid, how much km should an average uber car be doing with 20k fuel for within city rides?? I'm curious |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by obacasmir: 1:39am |
Okay. I'm just worried about profit , not that I'm trying to fault your work pattern. I think a single trip isn't bad. Shimmaa: |
