What's done in the dark will always find a way to shine. This government has done so much that when you eventually see, you might go blind. Only your government supports rehabilitation of terrorists Only your government pays ransom and calls it a rescue Only your government appoints terrorist sympathizers and sponsors Under your watch, all the armed forces have been infiltrated. Under your watch Nigeria has become more unsafe than the entire Middle East |

May APC, Nigeria, and Tinubu happen to the supporters of evil. I believe that ransome was paid for their release |

Hmmmm. This whole thing don hire person sef. The question now is how did that soldier died. Was he killed deliberately to prove point? Sacrificial lamb? Who do we believe. To understand Nigeria, you also need to have mastered brain teaser games. The country is so complicated with multiple intricacies |

100% of the news coming out from any one working under Tinubu is false, lies propaganda and aimed at whitewashing the devil. Tinubu is addicted looting in large numbers, using it to buy properties and leaving the entire populace with the ruins of poverty. We might not know the extent of destruction this man has done to the foundation of our democracy. It might take several hundreds of years to come back to the 2015 level where this insanity was minimal |

No wonder Tinubu's government is scared of an independent probe. Because it will reveal what Tinubu's government is hiding. |

alpharoyalty:Read before commenting, it won't hurt you. The information here aligned very well with Government position and explanation. Let's be glad that they returned safely |

Irresponsible journalism. What exactly is different from what the military said. Relatives of the terrorists were arrested, the location of the terrorists were found thereby forcing them to release their captives. Where is the evidence that anything else happened? Nigerian journalism is now competing with untrained bloggers. |

Isobug:The account here aligns with Government explanation. The guy died in the process of getting into the forest, not in gun battle. Government said no gun battle but the threat to eliminate the bandits family which government already arrested broke the ice |

Tinubu paid Ransome and wanted blaming Seyi Makinde 🤷♂️. Makinde had to call on higher authorities and Nigerians. Meanwhile, Hausa channels has been pointing at Emilokan as part of the terrorists network in the last two years. |

“Until the last day when their commander came and was smiling and laughing and said we should thank God that we had been freed. The next thing they said was that we should open our eyes." This paints a picture of the kidnappers freeing their captives, having collected huge ransom. |

johannu:Ransom and good deal (maybe freeing members from prison). |

“Until the last day when their commander came and was smiling and laughing and said we should thank God that we had been freed. The next thing they said was that we should open our eyes. Paying ransom, Nigerians are suffering and smiling. Collecting ransom, kidnappers are smiling and laughing. |

Anguldi:Hausa channels has been pointing at Emilokan as part of the terrorists network in the last two years. I totally agree with you Sir. Fingers from the northwest has been pointing at Emilokan. |

But the government said that one of the tactics they used was to identify the family members of the gang leaders, putting pressure on them, also break their communication network making it difficult to leave that area, and also arrested some of their collaborators outside the state as far to Abuja, Niger. So I don't think they went in all battle ready or on an attack because that place is a complex environment and can endanger the victims. Senator representing that area also said similar things before this interview, that they have to deploy minimal attacking strategies in other to reduce casualties because of the terrain and weather of that environment. All in all,I believe account details of this man though government was very diplomatic about it and hide key points. |

Yoruba man complaining about not tasting pepper throughout their captivity. Laugh don burst my belle o. He added, “We were fed twice a day, morning and evening. We ate only rice, little beans, onions, margarine and salt. Throughout our stay there, we did not taste pepper.” |

All hail tulumbu Apc government, Commander in chief of lamba... I thought robots and their government said there were fierce gun battles between the government agents and terrorists.... It's not yet evening...truth have started coming out.... Very soon the terrorists will set ring light to tell us if the money they received from this government as ransom is complete ![]() |
| Re: Terrorists Released Us Before Soldiers Took Us Home – Rescued Oyo Teacher by franugo(m): 9:58am On Jul 19 |
Lifestone:How does it align with govt explanation? Bayo said the victims were rescued, the story the victim gives clearly shows they were let go by the kidnappers, not rescued by soliders. It's obvious that some or all the demands of the kidnappers were met |

Lifestone:"threat to eliminate the bandits family which government already arrested" Where's the sense in what you wrote. First, would it make sense to eliminate people under arrest just like that? What constitution allows that? Second, even if your unbelievable scenario played out, what that implies is that the FG are agreed to a prisoner swap with terrorists. Where's the sense? |
