Please I need help with location to settle outside of Ogun and Lagos states. My remote job pays me 300k and I still make some gigs money as a multi instrumentalist and beat maker.

I want anywhere in Oyo state and Osun. This states are cnter to circumference of my gigs. Please help. Please state the cost of a room sefl- con rent in a medium rate area. No high end rent please.

Ibadan has the cheapest cost of living in the southwest. Rent is not the only cost, you should consider food cost, transportation and business opportunities too. Ibadan ticks the box more than others.

I know that economic development, policy changes and infrastructure will greatly determine ur expenditure, but some percentage depends on your daily habits.

If you wan live fine on 300k, go places like ilesha where you can get everything cheaper. Ibadan rent is quite on the high side

Even if you find a place with cheap rent, cost of living would still frustrate you.

Go to Osun state. Nothing dey there so you can live comfortably in that environment with what you earn

I heard they have stable electricity in Oshogbo and cheap food in Ibadan (and anywhere in Oyo State).

Very affordable if you can dress your cucumber garden in penalties from seeds of sapele plantain. Remember to ferment the first blue flowers in marinated honey sauce so you don't have to worry about a lavish court wedding when Ajah relocates to costain.

Am surprised at the comments here as if is not this same Nigeria where at least 60% earn less than 200k. Una com dey comment like say 80% dey earn like 500k and above. Am sure someone earning 70k monthly will comment too. Nawa ohh

Osogbo, stable electricity and low cost of living. Relatively secure with good schools and health facilities.
