What I truly hope for, someday within my lifetime, is that Nigerians will finally rise with a united voice against the very system, and the beneficiaries of that system, that have kept this country stagnant for decades. We cannot keep pretending that our suffering is accidental; it is the direct result of structures designed to enrich a few while leaving millions behind.

It pains me how deeply we’ve normalised selfishness. Too many of us want progress only when it benefits us personally, not when it uplifts the whole society. That mindset is part of the tragedy. A nation cannot move forward when everyone is fighting only for their own corner.

Until we confront both the system and the mentality that sustains it, Nigeria will continue to circle the same drain. My hope is that one day, Nigerians will choose collective good over individual gain, because that is the only path to real change.

APC became a party in 2014 while Wike was in PDP. In that same PDP, Wike was a member like Peter Obi.

Wike fought the APC leadership from 2014 until he joined Tinubu in 2023. That’s nine years.

Peter Obi joined LP in 2022 to contest the Presidency. His supporters moved with him at that point.

How can we confront the system when majority has mastered the art of selling their votes or hijacking ballot boxes for their principals?

Wike always uses the word sycophancy. How would one describe that gathering? Is that not a clear example of sycophancy? Take a look at the image. Take a look at our schools. All Wike’s children have studied abroad. They return to Nigeria to take up leadership positions and the children of the poor daily sing their praises. Look at all those who either purchased plane tickets or all flew private jets to attend that graduation. All of them just to show Wike that they are part of him and his family.

How many dignitaries attended the graduation of Dangote’s children, or even Abdul Samad Rabiu and Mike Adenuga? How many attended the graduation of the children of Elon Musk?

Politicians have completely messed up this country since 1999. They are the reason why the country is so terribly divided along ethnic and religious lines.

The country is already irredeemably divided and they know. The only reason they keep moving and pretending a fake unity is all they benefit. It is only a matter of time before the different ethnic groups will go their respective ways.

Many of us Nigerians complain about how our universites are bad, and so forth, yet when fee increases are proposed to make our universites much better,you all oppose it and say that we can fund world class universities that would be like Harvard, and Oxford and Cambridge, when one of those three spends more than we spend on education in a year, and charges fees that are very high.

You can't get world class on fees that are less than 2000 dollars a session. Scratch that 1000 dollars a session. Impossicant. That is why our universites cannot afford world class facilites, and so forth, and have been unable to for decades...because you won't pay the fees or the taxes to make them able to do so. And y'all can't afford loans of up to 15-30 million naira just for uni education.

IN the UK, average UK student pays 9000-12000 pounds sterling per session. Aand before you shout minnimum wage, that is way above what many UK citizens earn, so many of them borrow money. (And university education used to be free o! till the 1990's. They even used to pay students in uni a stipend self). That is how their universites can afford world class.

And since your universities are being paid scanty fees, and get scanty funding, they can';t compete...so the rich nigerians, the corrupt government officials and so forth go abroad Even some poor nigerians self scrape some money and send their kids abroad, because they know they would get valu for money.

(Though some government officials keep their children in Nigeria. All of Ngige's kids graduated from government university. Even though he could afford foreign education for them, lol).
