An Enugu Air aircraft veered off the runway after landing at Benin Airport on Thursday, but all passengers and crew safely evacuated, with no injuries or fatalities reported.

In a statement, the airline confirmed that the aircraft has been secured and that the relevant aviation authorities have launched an investigation and technical assessment to determine the cause of the runway excursion.

Thank God For Safety.

Seems to have been caused by wet runway.

The aircraft skidded on landing or experienced hydroplaning and could not come to a complete halt

It has been long I hear bad news. God why? Some people could have gone

The aircraft is a total wreck.

The fuselage, landing gear, engine and metal integrity are all FUBAR.

Now it can only be used to make can drinks.

It was this same aircraft scheduled to take me from Benin to Lagos at 3:30 p.m.
Saw this flight landed at 2:55 p.m. today but skidded off the runway. Thankfully, there were no fatalities, although a few passengers sustained minor injuries. Thank God everyone is safe.
Can't imagine this happening while trying to land in Lagos. My mind would have just gone blank.
