Yam and beans! 🙄

As a kid, I remember not liking this dish, and I disliked whenever my mum made it.
So, to avoid going hungry, I'd choose lesser evil, by scraping off the beans and eating the yams. 😩

When it comes to yam and beans, there are three categories of people; those who like both, those who like just the beans, and those who like the yams.

Which category do you fall under?

As for me, I don't know if I've come to like it sha.

With yam that big, it's a no no. It should be diced in smaller bits.

One of the most natural dishes readily available.
The yam has not been processed. Others are almost as fresh. No processing or preservatives.

It's a delightful meal.. WHILE IT IS HOT, and while day norva break put.

I prefer potatoes and beans to yam and beans. The only exception is if the yam is a dry and good yam, not the extremely soft type.

Igbos use bigger, solid cuts of yam. Great meal. I'm not a fan of the Yoruba version which has small, soft and gummy yam.

I must admit, anything overly large on the plate does not appeal to me.
