It means those who turn 18 years after JULY 26th 2026 are automatically exempted and disenfranchised from exercising their civic rights at the next elections due to no fault of their's. CVR as the name implies should be a continuous process. INEC SHOULD STOP THE CONSTITUTIONAL BREACH !!
So...let's say they stop registration one day before election (January 15)...so people who will turn 18 on the day of election will be disenfranchised abi? Or those that will turn 18 between January 16 and August 6 (governorship elections) will be disenfranchised abi?
How many people who were no being disenfranchised come out on election day to vote?
INEC needs proper planning and that's why registration must close before elections. People who don't vote next year will vote some other time. It happened to all of us at one point or the other.

If registration could be done from start to finish, why do we need to schedule an appointment to physically visit inec registration center before we can complete the submission of our application online?

Registration is on at INEC office soon after general election on 2023. If you didn’t register since 2023 , no extension will make you register later.

There is no place on the inec website where you can register from start to finish

You can't do anything from start to finish inec portal.
If you visit any inec office for the scheduled time, you will have to start all over again for the same registration
Most inec offices don't operate by weekend. for instance, if you come to mararaba inec office this morning no one will attend to you.

Basically, the registration closed since on Friday.

Nigeria my country! The information they put out is misleading then... Because I know the number of times I've attempted completing the registration online but wasn't successful.

But to leave a work day, only to go queue at an inec office that's not within a reasonable distance to either my home or office will be quite difficult.

I had thought that being able to do it online from start to finish would settle that but see how wrong I was.
