Go and ask world renoun Scientists for what you seek!

People that knows deeper about science say they believe in God you that knows nothing said you get idea!😂
I am asking you because you made the claim. I have seen no scientists making the claim that they have scientific evidence for any god.

But we have had this dance before, I have asked and you have never produced any because you have none.

The word science is derived from the Latin word scientia, which means "knowledge" or "to know."

So intelligent people don't need to see everything with their eyes before agreeing after all there are thousands of things we can't see with our physical eyes yet we don't deny their existence!😂

This is too brutal shocked shocked shocked

You guys need to chill grin
We will all die one day and find out for ourselves.
So this is basically the only response religious folks give: you'll find out later. Basically all the Abrahamic religions tell you that you'll find out that their own religion is the right one ONLY AFTER DEATH.
Now the question...How do you know yours is actually the right one since no one has died and resurrected to tell us they saw their respective gods. And yes, many have claimed to have resurrected with stories of afterlife but these occurrences happen in all the religions. So who would you believe?

There are different ways to spread religious ideas. One of the ways this can be done is by pointing out what appears to be logical fallacies and inconsistencies in other religions (and believe me, all religions in the world have one or two lurking in their teachings). Atheists are famed for doing exactly this.

Unbeknownst to the atheist, you cannot validate the true GOD with your mind. It needs to be dropped for one to be able to come into the full experience of GOD.
So lemme guess...you dropped logic and evidence into the trash can,so you 'experience' this god? Good. Herein lies the problem... Many people also dropped logic and evidence and arrived at different religions. In fact in the Christiandom, this belief in faith and disbelief in logic and evidence is the reason its splintered into thousands of denoms each claiming to experience one god
Doesn't this tell you anything?

I thought you people claim you are the custodians of SCIENCE!😂
And you used the quotes of scientists to arrive at your god? Did they tell you the scientific process by which they concluded the existence of that god? For your information, they made such statement out of ignorance and gut feeling, not facts. None of their works actually points to a god. And science unfortunately doesn't work with hunches,it works with cold facts
Until their works actually point to a god, then its all hogwash.
I'm sure you know many Islamic scientists believe in their Allah and thinks he exists. Would you post their quotes here or believe them?
And why do you quote scientists and ignore their works? Why chrrrypick what to believe

Na him way, we don sabi am tey tey. Sometimes you just need lay down the facts so others don't waste their precious time engaging with circular nonsense. It was never about overkill, just about informing her on the background. When someone routinely derails threads with flawed, spurious, borderline insane reasoning, a detailed preamble "nota bene" from an observer with documented history about the habits and tendencies of the said individual is necessary to save everyone else from an endless, tedious un-merry go round.
We are used to Dtruthspeaker. He claims to be a lawyer but I wonder if he has ever stepped into courtroom battles. His logic is awful

This is part of the issues Atheist unknowingly grapple with. You are unable to come to terms that GOD is far beyond religious interpretations. Your issue is not GOD but the interpretation of GOD according to the Abrahamic faiths. To be honest, they have done quite a good job pushing GOD knowledge into the world, but there comes a time where people will no longer be satisfied with the state of GOD awareness they promote and will yearn for something more.

Scratch what I said earlier (this was not intended to be a thread for some hardcore esoteric stuff). You do not need to die to experience heaven! You can witness and experience GOD while you are still alive here in this world.

NB: You need to disabuse your mind from religious constructs wink

Ha! I just had to laugh. I'll never understand why fellows like you feel so absurdly compelled to construct such elaborate, self-serving taxonomies just to soothe your own fragile, pseudo-intellectual worldview. I fail to see what's so hard for you lot to understand about atheism, except you're just being disingenuous.

Perhaps if you were even half as rigorously analytical as your delightfully pompous "as a scientist myself" preface attempts to signal to the forum, you would actually grasp basic philosophical definitions before masquerading as an enlightened authority on human consciousness and epistemic humility. But since you enjoy pulling random bs from your arse, let us get down to brass tacks and actually unpack the concrete philosophical - and also - sociopolitical reality(ies) you're so desperate to ignore.

Contrary to your bizarre fever dream assertion, atheism is not some dogmatic, gnostic insistence that modern scientific consensus currently explains every single metaphysical nuance or obscure corner of the cosmos, nor is it a desperate, adolescent cope crafted by uninhibited hedonists trying to run away from the "strict discipline" of divine oversight and moral accountability. A simple visit to any philosophy textbook or even a basic dictionary may have cautioned you beforehand, from spewing forth this blunder.

And another fun fact, bucko - eschewing belief in a celestial landlord is actually the default baseline of rejecting unevidenced claims about invisible sky deities. Shocked? Bet you didn't know this, did you? That tiny little detail just scraped by your head and missed you completely, betwixt your half baked pontifications.

Proper epistemic hygiene demands that the burden of proof rests squarely on the claimant asserting an omnipotent cosmic architect. The fact that you could so clumsily conflate a simple absence of belief with a positive, arrogant claim of absolute universal omniscience, is a testament to your capacity for intelligent reasoning, or lack thereof. This tired, armchair-psychoanalytic fanfiction you just cooked up about atheists is just pure, unadulterated copium and a shockingly lazy attempt to bypass intellectual engagement by impugning people's psychological motives.

Anyhoo, back to Mariangeles' question

"The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men." - Plato

You aren't an atheist, Mariangeles, so you wouldn't know diddly squat the battles atheists face regularly, especially in hyper religious environments filled with obnoxious proselytizing like Nigeria or the US Bible Belt. When religious orthodoxy routinely dictates state policy, codifies social bigotry, invades governance, and throttles rational inquiry, sensible human beings feel a moral and social imperative to speak up and push back against the madness. It's not exactly rocket science. I personally have no business with religious people and are content minding my own business until they try to mind my business for me and start asking me spurious questions about giving my life to a Jewish carpenter.
You are a perfect example of my characterization of an atheist. Quick aside, you could have made your points, absent ad-hominen attacks.
Perhaps you should set aside your zeal to convince others that this all powerful deity is fiction and read my post again, where I took no stand whatsoever regarding the credibility of this claimed divine creator, or lack thereof. I took a completely impartial stance on the subject, describing each camp as experience has taught me. By the way, just in case you want to know, I was, as a teenager, an atheist, but as I matured and learned much more, became agnostic, because as I became more knowledgeable I realized that it is simply not possible to answer these sort of questions.

Sure, we can have models that explains gravitation, subatomic particles, biology and all that but why do we have such phenomena in the first place? Even if we managed to understand all such phenomena in one simple model then we are still confronted with the question WHY.

Why what we observe and not some other? And this can in principle go on and on and on ad nauseum. Atheism, in my opinion, is born of a marriage of ignorance and arrogance.

There is no universal standard or unit of measurement for GOD'S truth. Human beings differ in their levels of acceptance to this truth, hence, the outcome is a myriad of religious groups dancing around the same themes and giving different expressions and interpretations to what was revealed for the good of man. We will all experience GOD in different ways. Everybody cannot be boxed into a singular line of thinking.

This is a very invalid question (off side) for 2 reasons

1) Told you before that it is an invalid questions because you are Presuming that He has to be created.

2) Invalid question because it is the fallacy of shifting/Changing the Post.
The topic is proof of God to us and not proof of how God came to exist.

So, this is an invalid question like a football player using his hand to kick the ball is a foul

➜There are several ways to look at it.
1). Maybe because religious people are always in your face. Every corner you turn in modern day Nigeria, you see or meet religion. Even in everyday language, people always reference God. Nigerians are among the most religious people on earth. So, it makes sense for a Nigerian atheist to act in a manner that suggests that they are obsessed about religion. The religionist simply will not leave you alone.
2). Atheism is itself a belief system. And every belief system requires adherents to convert people to their ways. What you call obsession on the path of the atheist can be likened to religious zeal to win more converts.
1. That is only true in a place like Nigeria where religion is air for the vast majority. That doesn't apply to athiests in other climes where religion rarely features in public life for most folks. 😒😒

2. Unfortunately, there is also atheism, the religion, which is what is at play here. Literally every ideology out there can be turned into a religion by those who allow themselves to become brainwashed by it. Atheism, for a great number of athiests, is a religion that their entire universe is centered around, and like every other religion, one they feel pushed to proselytize, even against the very logic and truth they pretend to stand for. So, when a so-called atheist uses belief in atheism as a reason to attack other religions, he does so mainly from a religious standpoint, no different than when people from other religions do the same. 😒😒

Outside of your remarkably insulated worldview, religious hegemony subtly saturates Western culture, currency, pledges, and institutional holidays without question. At other times, dogmatic reactionaries orchestrate massive judicial takeovers specifically designed to subjugate non-conforming populations under holy law. Thus, declaring that public life abroad is free from religious tyranny is an absolute joke.

It is quite unfortunate that so-called learned people are still making these elementary school arguments in 2026 after years of evolved theology and apologetics. Please what is this absurd definition of "religion" you've adopted if it applies to literally any vocal criticism of ancient divine mythology? Perchance do you also view total silence as an extreme form of noise too?

1. All nations are founded on one religious idea or the other. There is no escaping that fact. You go to even the communist/socialist/marxist nations, and you will find atheism codified in the system. However, in the West, the idea of freedom of religion at the individual level allows most people to exist without having to have the religion of others shoved in their faces every day. This is the #1 of the other individual I had responded to.😒

2. I explained there how any comprehensive ideology/belief can take up a religious stronghold over those who allow themselves to be brainwashed by it. Anyone living in 2026 would know and understand this at this point. 😒

Nerdcat Look closely at Dtruthspeaker's response, OP. And pay very especial attention to the logical architecture of his arguments, his off point ramblings and even his choice of words. What you are witnessing - if you'll be honest to admit it - is a masterclass in theological gymnastic ;Ds, emotional guilt-tripping, and absolute logical decay.....blablabla

It has always been said that when people want to lie or say rubbish, they start blowing long long grammer. So, even without anyone looking closing they can see that you are just an empty container that has fallen down from the 13th floor.

Just as an encyclopaedia full of noisefull complaints.NO VALID REBUTTAL MADE ANYWHERE.

And this is of course beside the fact that everyone can see that you obviously know me with a moniker you have abandoned because of the many times i countered your beliefs and you could never give a reasonable and valid rebuttal. grin So, you have come with this new moniker and blocked me so that I stop responding to your invalid and fallacious arguments. 😁😁😁.

So, C'mon atheist, you are only proving that you you people love lyes and delus and have no real or valid argument to make 😁😁😁🤣

And yo, a lexicon of feaces is still feaces even if you write it longer than 3rd mainland bridge. It would still be feaces 🤣🤣 And, the place feaces are deposited is in the toilet, what a waste of effort.🤣🤣🤣

As said, earlier when people want to say rubbish, they start blowing long long grammer. 🤣🤣🤣

1. All nations are founded on one religious idea or the other. There is no escaping that fact.
The United States Constitution literally codified a secular government, which completely debunks you here.

You go to even the communist/socialist/marxist nations, and you will find atheism codified in the system.
State-mandated anti-theism in Marxist systems is an instrument of political subjugation. It has absolutely nothing to do with religion. Please get your facts straight. None of those regimes you mention codify non-belief because they love rationalist philosophy. They just enforce it to demolish competing centers of authority and force total submission to the supreme leader. They systematically eliminate independent institutions to eliminate dissent and churches simply happen to be organized rivals for popular loyalty.

It's always been all about power. Faith and belief is completely irrelevant. So treating political tyranny as the canonical doctrine of everyday secularism is a hilariously desperate category error.

However, in the West, the idea of freedom of religion at the individual level allows most people to exist without having to have the religion of others shoved in their faces every day. This is the #1 of the other individual I had responded to.😒
Tell that to millions fighting for bodily autonomy against evangelical lobbies in the West. Religious fundamentalists routinely weaponize legal loopholes to ban books, restrict healthcare, and legislate scripture into public law daily. Having theoretical individual freedom doesn't mean pious loudmouths aren't aggressively invading public life.

2. I explained there how any comprehensive ideology/belief can take up a religious stronghold over those who allow themselves to be brainwashed by it.
This lazy semantic trickery is getting remarkably pathetic, my guy. Calling any organized set of principles a "religion" is a cheap equivocation tactic meant to mask the total lack of empirical evidence for your faith. There is a vast, unbridgeable chasm between dogmatic submission to unproven supernatural myths and the energetic defense of rational, evidence-based inquiry.

By your completely broken logic, a passionate belief in the scientific method, human rights, or environmentalism makes someone an ordained priest. Please stop stretching basic semantics before the English language utterly loses all meaning.

Anyone living in 2026 would know and understand this at this point. 😒
Anyone living in 2026 with a functioning brain can spot your desperate equivocation tactics from a mile away
