Militants are still reasonable. They are political agitators, and the best way to manage them is through negotiations. On the other hand, bandits and terrorists should be sent to the road that leads to marrying 70 virgins.

Kuginzi:
Jonathan first waded into the Niger Delta crisis in 2007 as vice-president, entering the creeks without an armed detail to meet ex-militant leader Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, in Warri, Delta State.
Who knows why this same Tompolo is working for the reelection of the man who got his own turn to be president and worsen APC destruction that started in 2015?

The master strategist who imported terrorists to set Nigeria on fire before he went to Kaduna to beg Buhari to stop Jonathan’s reelection, thereby ending 16 years of PDP prosperity, peace and security with cheap petrol, cheap dollars, low unemployment, low debt etc in the biggest African economy!

Tinubu is the chief terrorist and that’s why Trump and America washed their hands off the master strategist of a-looter destructive politics, even though he is trying to fake American support with the ofege letter he is parading upandan.

It’s the same thing as when the Lagos landlord faked a $5,000 gold invitation to Obama’s DNC convention 14 years ago.

The man who runs southern terrorists of agberos in NURTW, has been negotiating with northern terrorists that he imported to make Nigeria ungovernable for Jonathan and PDP before 2015.

‘Tactical Ransom or Negotiation?’ Nigerians Question Tinubu, FG as Kebbi, Kwara Terrorists Go Scot-Free

Since the Nigerian government confirmed that the abducted 38 worshippers in Kwara State and the 24 Kebbi schoolgirls had been freed, many Nigerians have been awaiting updates about the arrest or killing of their abductors.

The silence of the federal and state governments on consequences for the perpetrators has led many to believe that the government likely negotiated with the terrorists and paid ransom to have the abductees released.

FIJ called the spokespersons of the Nigerian Army (NA) and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on Wednesday morning, but neither provided answers to questions about the abductors.

Shortly after Kebbi Governor Nasir Idris and Bello Matawalle, Minister of Defence, announced on Tuesday that the 24 students had been freed, the terrorists who abducted the girls released a video, saying the government negotiated with them for the girls’ release.

Militants was destroying national assets that belongs to their community not lives, Boko Haram don't have national asset to destroy, but choose to kill people, so what are they fighting for?
Re: Who’ll Visit Boko Haram, Bandits Like GEJ, Osinbajo Visited Militants – Gumi by dc23(m): 6:35am On Jul 26
Very foolish man. They should change from bandits to MILITANTS if they want a visit.

Bandits and terrorists don't get visits anywhere.

Man talks like he never got an education.

This man think Nigerians are mumu like him,
Boko haram has foreign terrorist group that is sponsoring them kill people and kidnapping for ransom.
The question we should be asking this man is this:
Upon all the millions of naira and dollars ransom collected, how many schools have they build for their children?
They should point out to any water borehole dig for the benefits of their people they claim they are fighting for, instead they are using their ransom money to pile up ammunition waging war against a nation and you expect the government to negotiate with them.

This country is a joke walahi.
In a sane world like Isreal and China this man should be sentence to death by firing.

We don't support terrorists

Maybe after they BH have over your state, and then make you their governor, by then you can then not only visit but bring them to government house to rule with you.

Gumi the bandits godfather who wants elected officials to visit killer criminals and beg the criminals to stop by keep offering them money in a continuous cycle of blackmail.

On one condition will the authorities which we elected see the terrorist you call bandits: that they submit all their weapons and be arrested and tried for killing soldiers (serving or retired-like the Katsina General) and kidnapping, killing civilians everywhere.

you don't ever condemn your 'soldiers in the forests' for their evil doings, but you always encourage them & try to paint what they're doing in good light. You should be tried in a sane society.

I've been saying this, this is exactly what bandit leaders in the north want. They're still angry and pained about how the militancy issue was settled.

They lack the ability to reason and understand that the fight of the militant was completely different from these keelers.

I don't know why this man is still talking 😕😕
Re: Who’ll Visit Boko Haram, Bandits Like GEJ, Osinbajo Visited Militants – Gumi by AhmeduandOkopi: 7:39am On Jul 26
It is certainly clear that the Nigerian government and it's security arms have their hands tied by terrorists and their financiers (the military is complicit and some government people have active roles as terrorists)
Clearly a manifestation of their philosophy: "touch not my annointed terrorist and do my bandits and herdsmen no harm"
Re: Who’ll Visit Boko Haram, Bandits Like GEJ, Osinbajo Visited Militants – Gumi by jojothaiv(m): 7:40am On Jul 26
Gumi,

We all know that you're a BH, bandits and the likes sympathizer and one several occasion you've met them face to face however that doesn't mean that the president of a sane country should toe that same path with you, assuming we have a sane government in place, the meeting that should be scheduled between this fellas and the presidency should be the one that will lead all of them to the other side of the world but then this Nigeria.

Sai gobe.

You are so wrong on many fronts. And I will point your errors out in the subsequent paragraphs.

1. It was easier for FG to negotiate with the Niger Deltan activists because they had clear demands, which was for government to provide them with financial empowerment because the resources that their area was and is providing to the nation. Bandits do not have any requests while Boko Haram members are demanding for sharia government, which is not possible in multi-religious country.

2. The Niger Deltan guys did not go about kidnapping and killing all over Nigeria. They restricted their activities to their region just to cripple oil extraction from their region thereby rendering the country's economy to comatose.

3. Contrarily, Boko Haram and bandits have killed and maimed innocent people severally. They have committed several murders, and if Nigeria were to be a serious country many would have been handed the death sentence, considering the constitution prescribes death penalty for those who commit murder.

4. Lastly, what have these idiots done with amnesty given to them in the past. Rather than repent of their folly, they continue to engage in the killing of others after sometime.

Finally, those !diots deserve no further engagement, rather they deserve death after their speedy judicial trials based on the country's constitution.
You made valuable points which cannot be denied but my emphasis was helping as many of them who are willing let go of their present lifestyle and find the right life path if guided. There are many of them who want to.

This can be done through education and enlightenment with skill acquisition.

The northerners aren't bad people at all. I have come across many good ones among them who are very hardworking with their business but yielding little fruit for them.

Spreading the importance of education in the region will help go a long way.

They are not the evil ones. Some are only mostly been used by the evil ones.

A child can roam the streets when he is suppose to be in the class gathering the knowledge he needs to face future challenges. But when the future finally comes unprepared, he is forced to go into crime to survive.

At that point, some of the people he runs to for help will suggest illegal ways for him to survive while they share the profit.

You also talked about the desire to spread sharia and religion. It all still boils down to education. An educated mind quickly realise that relationship with God is what truly matters and not religion and those who do not practice your religion should not always been seen as your enemies.

I believe education together with agricultural development in the region will transform the land and turn many dependent ones among them to multi millionaires because most of them love agriculture but anything done including agriculture itself without the proper education to go about it will yield little or no fruit. That is why education is most important.

Let me answer him please. The Niger Dra Militants were Nigerians, like IPOB or Oduduwas etc.
The Niger Delta militants were agitating marginalization in distribution of oil blocks, oil resources, development of oil communities, inclusion of indigenous persons in oil exploration activities and getting relevant training. Without these they felt like the goose was laying golden eggs for others.
However some of there activities could be considered as anti economic, anti social anti human.

Boko Haram are not Nigerians, their name implies that they are against western education.
They destroy communities, kill innocent people. Kidnap school children. Kill women and farmers, they just kill and kill. They are sponsored by terrorists from foreign lands.

Why should anyone instead of obilerating these criminals negotiate with them, for what?

What are they looking for in Nigeria?
This Gumi man ought to explain himself.

I blame the Nigerian government for letting someone rejected by a mother Muslim nation over involvement in terrorism still remain relevant and free in our society where we are feeling the pains of terrorist activities.

We may be here yapping about Gumi and his blood-sucking 72-vigins-seeking marauding terrorists, but I can guarantee it that if Nigeria continues the way it is going with reckless abandon and absent willpower to genuinely crush the terrorists, one day Gumi will be our president, if he lives long enough. Nobody will visit them because it's not stated anywhere in the constitution of Nigeria that Government Officials should visit or negotiate with terrorists.
If Gumi and his croonies in the North think a Yoruba man will acknowledge or embrace terrorism, they better think twice.. anything short of peace is a NO NO.

We South Westerners that embraced education are not fools, we understand the immemse power knowledge through education holds for nation building.

In the end of it all, the whole world will lay it bare that Northerners allowed the radicals among them destroy the fate and fortunes of their generations unborn. Nobody will point accusing fingers at Yoruba.

Later they will tell you “but they are killing both Christians and Muslims”
Can you imagine the silly talk that is coming from someone of his caliber? Don’t be surprised, there are millions who reason just like this in the north. Those Militants were asking that the Nigerian state should take care of their needs since their lands were heavily damaged in the course of exploration. So I ask, what exactly are the boko haram terrorists and bandits fighting for? We unjustly took away the Niger Delta people’s livelihood, health and environment and gave them nothing in return, what exactly did we take away from bandits and boko haram? How do you even engage and change a man who thinks it’s a religious obligation to kill anyone who doesn’t believe in his demonic religion? Where do you start? Are you going to offer him money to forgo this belief or what?
If Nigeria was a sane country, this Gumi wouldn’t be alive to be spewing these loads of trash. Go and try this nonsense talks in non-terror-loving countries like China, the US and Israel.
