In any event, assuming but not conceding that he is not corrupt, he certainly is not competent. He has nothing to show for him tenure as governor of Anambra. A corrupt man who delivers is 100% better than a “clean” man who has no idea how to govern.

And he didn't say so in isolation. He continued with "and fall short of the glory of God"

It is common sense to anyone whose skull is still intact and have not hit the floor that Christ being part of the glory of God can't be said to have fallen short of what he's part of.

That's why the next verse goes "24being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus"
