I don’t understand, is he the one that employed or appointed the commissioners of police transferred to the statehuh?

Ain’t police commissioners transferred based on the order of the IGP to any states in Nigeria which governors or even the President have no say in ithuh?

So what is new or exceptional about commissioners of police been Muslims huh

And you sef come dey salaye as if the commissioners are commissioners in the cabinet of Anambra state government appointed by him.

Let’s stop all these deceits Abeg.
Governors appoint their ADC, he has every right and power to choose his ADC, yet he chose to trust his life with a Northern Muslim from Kano state and not Anambra man unlike Tinubu who only trust Yorubas as his ADC right from when he was Lagos state Governor, so the differences is very clear, Nigerians know better olay?

Governors can indirectly pick their Commissioner of Police if they have good rapport with the President and IG of Police and for your information, Peter Obi and Goodluck Ebele Jonathan were very close and in fact friends when Obi governed Anambra as Governor so if he had made any request to the President to change his Commissioner of Police, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan would have listened and changed it for him ASAP.

CharlesCNG:
It is obvious that you watched the interview through Obidient excitement rather than policy scrutiny.

Peter Obi certainly spoke at length. He mentioned agriculture, manufacturing, small businesses, affordable credit, education and poverty reduction.

On each of the above, i can see how tinubu is doing it. The question is how will peter obi and any opposition do it diffrently.

Listing desirable outcomes is not the same thing as providing the detailed blueprint you claim he revealed.

On security, Obi said poverty and lack of education fuel criminality, promised to be personally involved and declared that he would do “whatever it takes.” Those are sentiments—not an operational security plan. He did not clearly explain the command structure, intelligence reforms, policing model, funding requirements, border-security strategy or measurable four-year targets.

On the economy, he said production would begin with agriculture, followed by manufacturing and private-sector support.

But when would this begin? How much public financing would be required? Which institutions would provide affordable credit? What would replace current revenue reforms? What are the annual production, employment and export targets? Those details were not supplied.

Citing Bangladesh’s rice production, Dutch agricultural exports and Indonesia’s small businesses may illustrate possibilities. It does not automatically become a Nigerian implementation programme.

And please stop dragging Tinubu into every uncomfortable discussion about Obi.

This thread concerns Peter Obi’s interview with Seun Okinbaloye on July 26, 2026.
Whether Tinubu grants another interview does not insert the missing details into Obi’s answers.

You claimed Obi “gave away too much information.”

Very well: provide the precise security architecture, power-sector funding plan, implementation timetable and measurable targets he supposedly revealed.

Otherwise, what you heard was not a blueprint.

It was a familiar collection of aspirations, foreign comparisons and promises missing the essential question:

How, precisely, will Peter Obi do it?

Frankly, Honestly, whoever advised Peter Obi to grant that interview must be working for Tinubu.

Or was he advised by that mad man in upper iweka onitsha.

It was not an interview.

It was a harvest of Peter Obi demarketing material.

I have heard too much English language being used to masquerade failure by supporters of this govt. Subsidy regime reformation has brought so much revenue, yet, no govt has borrowed so much in the history of this country than this govt. Look at security sector, it is getting worse, critics who have evidence of how govt connive with terrorists are being arrested just to silence them. This govt spent over two billion dollars to rehabilitate refineries with no result, if not for Dangote refinery, the level of fuel scarcity would have been much in this period of Iranian war with America and Israel. Nothing to write home about the power sector, businesses are still being powered by private power from generators and others, corruption is getting higher, nothing to write home about the GDP which have plummeted since APC took over govt, same thing with the naira.

Obidient sees superior logic and immediately begins shouting: “Na AI! Na AI!”

That is like a student who cannot solve an equation accusing the calculator of intimidation.

You first claimed I did not watch the interview. I then responded to the exact points Peter Obi made—agriculture, manufacturing, affordable credit, security, power and foreign comparisons—and asked you to identify the detailed blueprint you claimed he revealed.

Instead of answering, you ran from the argument and started discussing how the response was written.

Whether a point was typed with a pen, phone, laptop or artificial intelligence does not determine whether it is true. Refute the substance.

Show us where Obi explained:

* his security command structure;
* his intelligence-reform programme;
* the cost and funding of his proposals;
* his power-generation targets;
* his agricultural implementation timetable;
* and his measurable four-year outcomes.

You said he revealed “too much information.” I asked you to present that information.

Your response was: “AI response!”

That is not critical thinking. That is intellectual surrender dressed as technological suspicion.

You cannot accuse someone of not watching an interview, receive a detailed breakdown of the interview, and then refuse to answer because the breakdown is too organised for your comfort.

It is like challenging someone to a race and then complaining that his shoes are too good when he overtakes you.

Yeye Obidient, forget the messenger and face the message.

Peter Obi spoke for a long time, but length is not depth, aspiration is not architecture, and foreign examples are not an implementation plan.

So, one more time:

Where is the blueprint?

Until you provide it, shouting “AI” is merely the digital version of covering your ears and running away from an argument you started.

Shay peter obi have power to appoint or remove state police commissioner? Must you quote if you don't have any reasonable thing to say

Below are the Muslim Commissioners of Police who served under Peter Obi when he was Anambra state Governor:

Amusa Bello from Kwara State.

Muhtari Ibrahim from Kano State.

Balla Nassarawa from Kebbi State.

Usman Gwary fom Adamawa State.

Peter Obi's Aide-de-Camp (ADC) was Mohammed Idris from Kano State, also a Muslim. Every elected official's life lie mostly in the hand of his or her ADC yet Peter Obi entrusted his protection and security in the hand of a Muslim man from Kano state and not in the hand of a fellow Anambra or Igbo man like Tinubu always do right from when he was Lagos state Governor. I am not a supporter of any of them, but the only thing I know is that any elected candidate that didn't work well in four years shouldn't be allowed to come back for another four years, be you Tinubu, Obi, Atiku , Sowore or whatever name you bear. This isn't time for trial, error or any other experiment, once you fail, you go.
Exactly. Look at the comment of one them, just because of political differences, he says people should be stoned to death. I don't want that kind of politics in Nigeria abeg. We had enough during Obasanjo's time with political assassinations, it's worse if the people at the bottom now embrace thuggery and violence because of a tenured post.

In a serious country, the major candidates should be preparing for political debates. Atiku, Obi, Tinubu but this mass psyop to distract us cannot work. By labeling opposition criticism and media questioning as empty chatter, the ruling party attempts to signal to the electorate that talk is cheap, weak, and effeminate, while silent execution of power is strong and masculine. It tells the voter to Ignore what people are saying, focus only on the fact that we hold the levers of state power. It is an attempt to condition the public to believe that accountability through debate is irrelevant to winning or holding power in Nigeria.

In the interview , this one more proof that Peter obi is vacuous.
When he was asked that question, his response in my view was a missed opportunity.

The accusation against Peter Obi has long centred on claims that he deported or discriminated against northern residents in Anambra. During the interview, instead of addressing those allegations directly with documented facts—such as government records, court decisions, testimonies from affected communities, or specific policy actions—he pointed to the religious identity of some senior security officials.

Those are not the same issue.

Appointing Muslim security officers may be relevant evidence against claims of religious bias, but it does not by itself answer allegations concerning the treatment of ordinary northern residents.

Likewise, it is worth remembering that Commissioners of Police are appointed and posted by the Nigeria Police Force, not selected by state governors. So the fact that Muslim CPs served in Anambra under Obi is not, by itself, evidence of his appointment policy or inclusiveness.

COMPARATIVE-COUNTRY PETER: Bangladesh Is Not a Nigerian Blueprint. by CharlesCNG.

One of the recurring features of Peter Obi's interview with Seun Okinbaloye was his fascination with comparing Nigeria to other countries.

Bangladesh.

The Netherlands.

Belgium.

Morocco.

Ethiopia.

Vietnam.

Almost every difficult economic question was answered with another international comparison.

There is nothing wrong with learning from successful countries.

Every serious government does.

The problem is when comparison replaces implementation.

This is why I call him Comparative-Country Peter.

Asked how Nigeria would move from consumption to production...

He took Nigerians to Bangladesh.

Asked about agriculture...

He travelled to the Netherlands.

Asked about exports...

He boarded another flight.

By the end of the interview, Nigerians had completed a world tour without seeing a detailed Nigerian implementation plan.

Bangladesh did not become Bangladesh because another country admired it.

Vietnam did not industrialise because politicians kept mentioning its name on television.

Those countries transformed through years of deliberate policies, sector-specific reforms, infrastructure investment, export incentives, education, stable institutions and measurable execution.

That was the missing ingredient in the interview.

How will Nigeria adapt those lessons to its own realities?

What happens first?

Which sectors receive priority?

What legislation will be introduced?

How much will implementation cost?

Which ministry leads the reforms?

How will success be measured after one year, two years and four years?

Those questions remained unanswered.

Again, Blueprintless Peter knew the destination.

Again, Comparative-Country Peter knew the examples.

But examples are not blueprints.

Quoting Bangladesh is not an agricultural policy.

Mentioning Vietnam is not an industrial strategy.

Referring to the Netherlands is not an export programme.

Leadership is not measured by the number of countries you can reference.

It is measured by your ability to translate their lessons into a practical Nigerian roadmap.

Until that roadmap is presented, Comparative-Country Peter remains exactly that—a tour guide through other nations' success stories, while Nigerians continue waiting for the blueprint for their own.

From Consumption to Production": Blueprintless Peter's Destination Without Directions by CharlesCNG.

Peter Obi's slogan, "Move Nigeria from consumption to production," CAME UNDER PROPER SCRUTINY YESTERDAY ON CHANNELS TV.

and as usual, the problem is not the destination. The problem is the missing road map.

During his Channels Television interview, Obi was repeatedly challenged to explain exactly how this transformation would happen. Instead, he spent much of his answer comparing Nigeria with Bangladesh, the Netherlands, Belgium, Morocco, Ethiopia and Kenya, arguing that those countries produce more despite having less land.

The comparisons are interesting. They also prove that Nigeria has enormous untapped potential.

But comparisons are not policies.

Nigerians deserved answers to practical questions. Which crops would receive priority? How many hectares would be cultivated annually? What irrigation projects would be launched? How would farmers be protected from terrorists? What would be the financing model? What production targets would be achieved in four years? Which laws would be amended? Which ministries would drive implementation?

Those questions remained unanswered.

A presidential blueprint is more than describing what successful countries have done. It is explaining, in measurable terms, how Nigeria will get there.

No serious observer disputes that Nigeria must produce more, process more and export more. That is common ground. The real debate is over implementation.

Leadership is not merely telling Nigerians that Bangladesh produces more rice or that the Netherlands exports more agricultural products. Leadership is presenting a detailed Nigerian plan with timelines, budgets, institutions and measurable milestones.

A destination inspires hope.

A roadmap inspires confidence.

In this interview, Nigerians heard plenty about the destination.

They are still waiting for the directions.
The truth no man can give what he does not have.
Peter obi is not fit, not qualified, not prepared, not informed, not convincing, not strategic and not presidential.
