Sebi there's a law that says you can't study in any Lagos state Polytechnic, Technical College, University or Colleges of Education, Science, Agriculture or Health without having credit in Yoruba in WAEC or NECO and another law that demanded that members of State Assembly uses yoruba to communicate twice weekly. You will soon need a letter from your traditional King and LGA Chairmen before representing Lagos in any local or state elections until Enugu or Imo will allow Igbira and Nupe people to become their Governor.

this is the strategy APC uses to stay in power in the SW.. they get a non-Yoruba person as opposition knowing fully well the Yorubas will not accept the person then they let a Yoruba person be the one contesting in APC then the Yoruba person wins and power stays with APC.

Only reason there's poverty in the SE in 2026 is because in 1966 certain SE soldiers and leaders who were not intelligent and also who had zero knowledge of economics could not forecast the gas boom and oil boom that awaited the SE region and due to their superiority complex and mindset to always dominate non-SE people they ignorantly chose to destroy the regionalism that would have made every eastern Nigerian filthy rich and start a civil war..

SE people should focus on developing the SE...

The right battle is that states are not equal and if Bayelsa or Ekiti should have 3 senators then your Delta state should have like 7. That is the right fight. Every citizen should be able to contest elections anywhere they want.

Eastern Nigeria has crude oil, one of the largest gas deposits in Africa, one of the largest coal deposits in Africa

while Yoruba people don't have the level of crude oil the SE have, the SW does not have gas deposits, does not have coal deposits.

when it comes to natural resources wealth Eastern Nigeria is extremely richer and wealthier than the SW and the rest of Nigeria and they should not be allowed to participate in politics outside the eastern Nigeria.

SW is significantly poorer than the Eastern Nigeria...
