Ireti Yusuf, one of the finest journalists in Nigeria. Take time and listen to her program on Fridays and Sunday mornings. A very seasoned journalist. See some of the comments from ill informed Nigerians above, telling her to leave south Africa. For crying out loud, she is a journalist. Journalists are meant to travel and cover events that are happening. She was there, asking the tough questions on behalf of nigerians and some are here, telling her to come back |

When IGBO talk in Nigeria, same you will tell them to leave Lagos. When the agitate for Biafra to leave your xenophobic Lagos, same you will be shouting 1 Nigeria. ![]() ElevationD: |

Lol. OK let me give you guys a good way to shut up these South African dumb fellows. Ministry of Foreign Affairs should draw together documents from reports made to South African Authorities on the death of several Nigerians and linking them to the so called March and March movement, and all their other zulufoolish movements. The major ones though. Nigerian Intelligence should then open an investigation on the March and March and the other one led by one guy that looks like Zinjathropus. Issue an interpol arrest warrant through Nigerian courts for Jacinta Zuma and the Zinjathropus Man, plus any other prominent leader of these violence acts, for Murder, intimidation, terrorits threats and organized crime. Totally ignore South African Authorities while doing it. Once done, those two will never travel outside South Africa ever again. Do not worry about which countries will implement the arrest. They too do not know and will rather play safe and stay put in South Africa. Further, form a working group with Kenya, Zimbabwe, Malawi etc forget African Union. Issue a multi-national arrest warrant for any South African Government official or politician that openly advocates for these xenophobic violence outside of the stipulations of South African law and the Human Rights Charter of UN. If they visit any small country like Malawi which South Africa can Intimidate, make sure you have a ready jet and fast judicial process to transfer them to Nigeria for proper trial Ignore all communications from South African Government once you make any targeted arrest. Sameway they play comatose and allow non state actors to be killing and intimidating foreigners . When done, South African Govt. Officials, Ministers without diplomatic passport will fear to leave South Africa. Trump will also be very happy to make a few arrest of those indirectly killing white farmers, and pretending they are more righteous than Isreal. Case Closed. No diplomatic row. Just ignoring communications. Some flights from South Africa needs to land and Refuel when trying to reach Europe or US. Such transits with good intelligence tracking are perfect for arresting their Government officials. They will start doing direct flights only. Apart from that, their former enemies such as UK, and Netherlands ( Dutch) will be very happy to honour a multi national arrest warrant in order to set an example for government accountability on illegal use of mob violence for political agenda. |

Kemetian:No that's not how to go about it. There are diplomatic and financial ways of dealing with them. Impose strict taxes on their businesses and it will force them to close down and Nigerians will take over. |

South Africans aren't shallow . You support a shameful person as President. A man that encourages local xenophobia in Nigeria and you think other countries dont know? Mtcheeew ![]() ElevationD: |

RandDigital:These xenopobic clowns are overrating themselves. The class of Ireti cannot be found in all South African tribes bar the whites that are the main owners of the country of course They are lucky this their primitive actions is happening at a time BAT that is president and not OBJ or Waziri. They would have known that power supply and skyscrapers doesn't make a country great. It's the content and quality of their people in all ramifications of life. Something that we have in abundance over SA globally If Nigeria goes on a petition spree on any of their few global personalities it will break the internet. Buffoons!!! |

Mr Seun, Patriotism is loyalty to your Country. It can be expressed in so many ways. There is really no justified reason for Samantha and Randdigital to be so confident in creating triggering posts which usually are insulting to Nigerians. They should have been banned a long time ago. |
| Re: Ireti Bakare-Yusuf: South Africans Petition To Ban Nigerian Journalist by JAWBONE(m): 1:18pm On Aug 01 |
allthingsgood:Once again, you Nigerians need to learn how to be strategic in your thinking. It's not everything you must be loud and noisy about. It's not everytime you must prove to the rest of Africa what you are not. Before you go to war with anybody, count the cost and know where to hit your rival the hardest. Your banning Tyla from Nigeria is a very stupid move because of your short sightedness and emotional overreaction to events Nigeria is not even in Tyla's top five biggest market so she doesn't even care. You have achieved nothing with that action only to hurt Nigerians in South Africa more and Nigerian artistes who might be performing in South Africa. The South Africans themselves are looking to react irrationally and you have now stooped to their level. Anyway if una like, make una carry this same mumu thinking enter everywhere. Na the reason why this country no get any leader wey get head. Na just people wey dey find wetin go make them dey carry shoulder up |

Iteri I think your mistake was interviewing Jacinta first without getting sense of the lay of the land. Kubayi incident definitely humbled you - read the room, no other journalists acted like you (desist from Nigerian main character attitude when in SA).... You were definitely humbled and rattled on camera. I've since watched your interviews on Arise and they changed of you to positive. |
