Oyo Kidnapping: As President, I Would’ve Been In The Forest In 2 Days - Obi by omenka(op): 7:50pm On Jul 31
Oyo Abd¥ction: As President, I would’ve been in the forest in 2 days. There might be casualties, but everyone will come out — Peter Obi

Former Anambra State governor and 2027 presidential candidate Peter Obi has criticised the Federal Government’s response to the abd¥ction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oriire L GA, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, saying he would have personally gone into the forest where the children were taken if he were president.

Speaking on the security situation, Obi questioned why the abd¥cted children were not rescued after several weeks. “The President did not call the governor. What do you mean? 50 days! I would have been there in two days!”

Obi said the forest where the children were taken was within Nigeria and insisted that decisive action should be taken to rescue everyone. “Is the bush not in Nigeria? That bush they went in? The bush is in Nigeria! Everybody in that bush will come out! Everybody!”

He added that there could be casualties during such an operation but insisted that the priority should be bringing everyone out.
"There might be casualties, but everybody will come out!” he said.

Obi also criticised what he described as secrecy surrounding security operations in Nigeria, arguing that arrested suspects should be publicly paraded and Nigerians should be informed about the outcome of investigations. “And it is time when we say we resolve something, we arrest some people, parade the people! Let people see them! What is happening?”

Recalling his experience as Anambra governor, Obi said he had confronted criminal activities in forests and insisted that criminals leave the state. “If you go today, Evans will tell you, at least that criminal, he said Peter Obi made them to leave Anambra.”

He also mentioned several notorious criminals who, according to him, d+ed in Anambra during his administration. “No way! It’s either I’m in charge or you people are in charge! I go home! One person must be in charge!”

This is how a true leader talks, and Peter Obi walked the talk in Anambra while he was governor.

He used decisive force to flush out kidnappers and criminals, and it was so effective that Anambra became the safest state in Nigeria between 2009 - 2014 according to then Inspector General of Police.

Also, below are photos of PO walking the talk to rescue and rehabilitate flood victims while he was governor.

Peter Obi will never hide in a bunker while his countrymen are in the bush in the hands of kidnappers.

This is the most senseless thing I’ve read from a presidential candidate since 1999. This guy has no single intelligent and realistic alternative idea. It’s either he’s telling us that he will take advice from a mad man on Onitsha head bridge or he will personally enter the forest to rescue kidnap victims irrespective of if it will lead to the death of the victims or not.

Theres is no state in Nigeria where communal clashes is as common as in Anambra. Hadly you see a neighbouring town not in one form of war with the other neighbour.

If you see Ndi Anambra don't want to leave Lagos please don't blame them, they don't want find themselves in crossfire going on back home.

Obi who couldn't solve communal clashes want to stop terrorism.

So the best advise was to pay ransom after 50 days
At that point a maths teacher was already beheaded. If na seyi dey the bush would the drug baron have waited for 50 days

Not a single kobo was paid and all the students came out alive. That is a far sensible way to handle the matter instead of the President rushing into the kidnappers den and risking the lives of the victims, soldiers and even the commander in chief.

When 9/11 happened, the first thing the US security forces did was to immediately evacuate President Bush from the white house to Airforce1. He was in Airforce1 until they were able to assess the situation and conclude that the President is no longer at risk of any impending attack before the aircraft came down. Bush did not rush to the world trade center to rescue the victims.

The guy is a shameless hypocrite.. the South East still practice sit at home and forceful lockdowns yet this hypocrite turned blind eye to the violation of human rights going on in his home region. The forceful sit at home affects all other tribes doing business or living in the South East, yet they go about pretending as if all is well in their backyard.

Their lies will continue to get exposed, so they won't deceive Nigerians into thinking they have magic wand to fix everything wrong in the country.

If you indeed care, you don't need to wait to be president, just head straight to Sambisa forest, our troops will guide you to navigate the terrain.

It will be in preparation for when you eventually become the president even if it's going to be 2047

I have analysed why Peter Obi will continue to be reckless as long as his consumers, the Obidients will continue to be swallowing the rubbish from Peter Obi without questioning his sanity for such reckless statements

Obi cannot do anything about the situation at home because he is not the president not the governor.

He is a private citizen.

As president, nobody will try that rubbish

So the president will go to the bush because of rag tag terrorists and carry phone to be talking to them.
They will be controlling him like mumu.

What are all the security architecture there for? The guy has a very pedestrian primary school level thought about leadership. Little wonder no adult follows him for long.

Buhari said he will lead the war against terrorist in the bush. Are you saying he didn't know what he was saying?

Didn't Jonathan go the borno state?

Do you know what it means that the president of a nation relocated to a hot zone?
