Yet you lost to them and the countries are still on their feet today. The difference between Saddam Hussein and Iran is that Saddam was afraid to use his ballistic missiles and instead buried them. Iran is not afraid to use ballistic and will hit the US and it's allies whenever they're threatened. I also read a report that about 70% of Iraq oil proceeds are going to Iranian backed militias in Iraq. This is a country you supposedly "defeated". The moment America bites more than it can chew, Iran will test Nukes on Israel and if the US retaliates, they'll send some to Trump's bedroom and all the big cities. Hitting old and dilapidated structures in an already poor Iran. That's why Iran being poor is an advantage. Imagine blowing up 2 bridges that cost 10 billion Tomans. That's like $40,000. Chicken change for an oil exporter that deals in billions of $$. All the damages caused by the U.S wouldn't even cost up to $10 billion to fix. Chicken change for Iran, China and Russia to reconstruct. While US losses is in the hundred of billions of dollars. In 7 good countries.
