TenQ:Read over and over Stephen did not go to engage them in an argument rather they came to where he was teaching to contradict him before those listening just as they did to Jesus. Note that Jesus never purposely engage Pharisees in any argument it was while he was preaching and teaching his audience that they will come to contradict his teachings. So that man was wrong to have engaged Muslims in an argument. Are there no reputable men of God in that place? The young man took it upon himself to challenge them instead of minding his own business which supposed to be the usual preaching and teaching those who wants to listen to him!😟 |

MaxInDHouse:All I could see was that Stephen did not reply the Jews one bit as he didnt want to debate them. Thus Stephen was Quiets throughout the monologue And Stephen invited them for bible studies (in their homes) while asking them to buy his religious pamphlets. SHM!! I am sure you also havent read about Appolos Acts 18:28 "For he vigorously refuted his Jewish opponents in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah." NWT "for with intensity he thoroughly proved the Jews to be wrong publicly, while he demonstrated by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ." You are certainly different from the disciples of Jesus! |

TenQ:It's not just about READING but STUDYING the Bible to know exactly what happened back then. Each disciple follow the command from Jesus who ordered them to go and meet people at home {Matthew 10:11-13} and it's only those who welcome their message that is the meaning of lost sheep of the the house of Israel {Matthew 10:6} these are people who wants to be guided regarding the truth not stiff-necked religionists who already concluded in their minds that they won't listen. TenQ:Interpretation may mislead you so try to compare with other versions and see how each verse is rendered: He (Apollos) began to speak boldly in the synagogue, and when Pris·cilʹla and Aqʹui·la heard him, they took him into their company and explained the way of God more accurately to him. Act 18:26 Apollos surely had the zeal but not the way Jesus taught his disciples to carry out the preaching and teaching work so Priscilla and Aquila corrected him. Today some churchgoers are zealous to do the work of evangelizers but they are not trained on how to do the work. See my brothers who has been arrested in their own countries for talking to their neighbors about God's Kingdom!

MaxInDHouse:As you can clearly see, Stephen is different from you Apollo is different from you Paul is also different from you Acts 9:29: "He talked and debated with the Grecian Jews , but they tried to kill him." Acts 19:8 (In Ephesus) "Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God." So, you see that you are different from the servants of Jesus Christ |

TenQ:Now i remember you!🙂 One who always argue with Muslims. Learn from what just happened it may be your last warning. True Christians aren't sent out to go about arguing {Titus 3:9} our mission is to search for those who are deserving: “Into whatever city or village you enter, search out who in it is deserving, and stay there until you leave" Matthew 10:11

MaxInDHouse:Do not change the subject and worry about me. Phil 1:21: "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Why should I be afraid to die because of Christ like Stephen Luk 12:4: "And I say to you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do." The issue is that according to the scriptures presented you are NOT like the servants of Christ eg. Stephen, Apollo and Paul: thus, I feel sorry for you. Here was the promise of Jesus as He sends us into the world Mat 10:16-18: "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the middle of wolves: be you therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will whip you in their synagogues; And you shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles." |

chimex38:1. What you are doing is yet another thing I hate about Religion. It is almost as though you folks --- and this applies to Christians, Islamists, Buddhists, Hindus, Judaics --- you all do everything in your power to avoid broaching the facts before you. 🥱 Below are the facts as laid out by the Law. Nowhere in the excerpts does it mention revealing whether one is a witness or a bystander or one of the criminals caught in the act needing to tell a third party(removed from the case entirely) about what she did. 🥱 2 “You might hear about an evil thing that happens in one of the cities that the Lord your God is giving you. You might hear that a man or woman in your group has sinned against the Lord your God. You might hear that they have broken his agreement or... 10 “‘If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death. - Leviticus 20 vs 10... 22 If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel. - Deuteronomy 22 vs 22Read carefully what the law says. Both the man and the woman had to be killed by Law. Therefore, if the witnesses had, in fact, intended to go after the man, after stoning the woman to death, there would be no sin counted against them. Carrying out a death penalty as stipulated by the Law is a holy act. However, that is not what happened. The story instead tells of men who immediately shrank back the moment they were asked to cast a stone if they had no sin, implying they already knew that their intentions were not in line with the Law. One didn't need to be sinless to carry out the Law. Rather, if one does not carry out the exact letter of the Law, one accrues sin against the Law. The woman who was caught in the act of adultery was not spared by Jesus Christ of Israel, but because those who came out to stone her knew well they sinned in attempting to stone her alone. 🥱 Also, read the Law again, and you will find that since Jesus Christ of Israel was not a witness to the act, He had no right to stone her first nor condemn her as he said there in the passage. 🥱 2. Jesus Christ of Israel literally said the following: ⚉ I and My father are one ⚉ I do the Will of my Father, implying that He accepted and obeyed every letter of the Law of Moses, including the laws that stipulated the death penalty for crimes. ⚉ I am in the Father and the Father is in me, implying that His Father's Law lived inside of Him as He too lived inside of His Father. So, when you say things like Jesus Christ of Israel magically interpreted away the content of the Law so that the death penalty was no longer accepted, you literally label Jesus Christ of Israel(the Christian rebranding of him, at least) a bloody Liar!🥱🥱 3. This need to deface and humiliate the person of Jesus Christ of Israel in favor of your religious fumes is infuriating. 🥱 |
| Re: Ugandan Pastor Bernard Mulongo Killed After Christian-Muslim Debate by chimex38: 6:34pm On Aug 03 |
Kobojunkie:You stated that Jesus approved literally every aspect of the Old law. Which is true. I highlighted the bolded comment. (I didn't bold it well) But I tried to break down into context that unlike Jewish leaders of Pharisees and scribes, he considers the spirit of the law before applying literal letter of the law. Reason why I tried to break it down into YES he approved every letter of the law and NO, he usually considers the spirit of the same law before applying the letter of the law depending on the scenario. This helps to reduce rate of harsh penalties Like death penalties. Or people going hungry on Sabbath day, or healing and looking for treatment on the Sabbath day, etc which is a literal violation of the letter that was frowned upon up until his coming. Before Jesus came, the application of these laws were more direct and harsher than the law was meant to be used. |

chimex38:1. Literally claiming Jesus Christ of Israel a liar is not helping anyone but your ego in your delusions. Nowhere in the Gospels is the man written to have sidestepped the letter of the Law. 🥱 He made it known, severally, that He was one with His Father, in the death penalty, in what people could or could not do on the Sabbath day, etc. He never did any of what you claim. He had no power to subjugate or dismiss the letter of the Law. He made no attempts to minimize the impact of the law. He literally quoted the letter of the Law in response to claims made by those who pretended to assert the Law; When he asserted that Israelites were to love their neighbor as themselves, he was literally quoting from the Law - Leviticus 19: 18. But of course, you religious folks would rather pretend that the statement was HIm asserting a different idea against the very same Law which He said He was one with. ![]() 2. Let's take one particular example. In the instance of people going hungry on Sabbath day, it is important to know what the Sabbath laws, in fact, say to know why the disciples were able to go into the field to eat. 11 That is because the Lord worked six days and made the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. And on the seventh day, he rested. In this way the Lord blessed the Sabbath—the day of rest. He made that a very special day. - Exodus 20:11... 2 “There are six days for working, but the seventh day will be a very special day of rest for you. You will honor the Lord by resting on that special day. Anyone who works on the seventh day must be killed.... 13 “Tell the Israelites this: ‘You must follow the rules about my special days of rest. You must do this because they will be a sign between you and me for all generations. This will show you that I, the Lord, have made you my special people.... 3 “Work for six days, but the seventh day, the Sabbath, will be a special day of rest, a holy meeting. You must not do any work. It is a day of rest to honor the Lord in all your homes. - Leviticus 23 vs 3.. As you can see from what the Constitution of ancient Israel reveals regarding the Sabbath, what is deemed a criminal offense on the Sabbath day is the doing of work. Eating on the Sabbath day, which is what the disciples were in the fields doing, was not against the Law.🥱🥱 1 At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the sabbath; his disciples were hungry, and they began to pluck heads of grain and to eat.Clearly, knowing what the Law in fact says is prohibited to do on the Sabbath, one could easily deduce that the Pharisees were lying when they said that what the disciples were doing was unlawful. Jesus Christ of Israel and his disciples knew this, too. There was no manipulation of the Law by Jesus Christ of Israel or his followers necessary in showing this.🥱 |

Kobojunkie:Exactly, we're kinda on the same page. I think I get the cruz of where our differences lies. It's the way you interprete my perspective and thus you see Jesus as a liar from my end and the way I interprete yours. A typical example using Nigeria new tax policy is the 5% levy charge on fuel consumption to be paid by motorists in addition to one's normal liter of fuel at fuel-stations. This levy has been in existence since 2007 under FERMA act 2007. It was supposed to be used by Federal Road Maintainance Agency(FERMA) to maintain roads, bridges and other road related infrastructure. But the FG never implemented this levy tax. So that particular law has never been fulfilled by the population. Yet it has been in our constitution for years...an old law. Let's assume this same fuel levy tax is going to be implemented next year 2027.(though it's been cancelled due to protest and backlash). It will look new to Nigerians. Many people will assume the tax man-Oyedele(Present Minister of Finance) introduced a new tax-law. cuz every citizen will have to adjust to the physical and financial adjustments of this levy to one's daily activities and movements..ee go touch everybody. But No, he didn't introduce any new tax law, he only came to fulfil the old tax law FERMA ACT 2007(aka OT) that has sometimes been wrongly misinterpreted or never implemented to the detriment of the FG revenue, Road maintenance, etc. So like-wise Jesus Is assumed to introduce a new law, But he didn't, he only came to fulfil the old mosaic law(aka OT) that has sometimes been wrongly misinterpreted or probably never implemented the right way to the detriment of the jews in some cases. You are seeing it from the view that Jesus is doing what ought to be done or what has been done from time memorial and the Pharisees rightly interprete the scriptures well and implement it accordingly but are just deliberately twisting the scripture knowingly and deceitful to trap Jesus.. #Fair-enough. While I am seeing it from the perspective that the Pharisees and scribes and previous Jewish leaders were actually interpretating and implementing the scripture wrongly for their fellow Jews citizens to follow in wrong way, disenfranchising some people of some basic right and empowering others unjustly. Jesus came to set the record straight and fulfill it the way it actually should be and have been from inception. The jews having to adjust to the new reality of how the law should have been would ultimately see it as somewhat of an entire new law to follow when actually it's not. Infuriating the saducees and Pharisees. Same way Nigerias got infuriated and protested with serious backlash last yr(2025) when FIRS/Finance minister decided to introduce the 5% Fuel levy tax that wasn't even a new tax law. |

chimex38:1. Wrong! You and I are not even remotely on the same page. You are literally claiming that not only did Jesus Christ of Israel lie about upholding the letter of the Constitution of Israel, but that he magically manipulated the law by his own will. That is untrue. 🥱 2. First of all, this analogy is a crock of bull! It has no resemblance to the situation being discussed here.🥱🥱 3. Wrong! He is assumed to have introduced new laws by people who have chosen Ignorance as their lot in the year 2026, particularly those of the Christian religion who falsely go around preaching the nonsense that somehow Jesus Christ of Israel USURPED his own Father's will, declaring it null and void in some way. The religion is literally built on lies against the person of Jesus Christ of Israel, all for the egos of men. 🥱 4. Again, you are wrong! The Old Law warned against interpreting of the Law. It instead insisted on the as-is implementation of the Law. 1. Now, Israel, hear the decrees and laws I am about to teach you. Follow them so that you may live and may go in and take possession of the land the Lord, the God of your ancestors, is giving you. When you apply your interpretations, you twist what is written. That is what the Pharisees did and that is the same thing religion does to this day. It is the very reason why Religion basically lies against Jesus Christ of Israel suggestion He changed the ancient Constitution of Israel when he never did any such. 🥱🥱 Also, I disagree with your sense that the Pharisees were somehow ignorant of what the Law said. The Law and the books of the Prophet were read in the Temple and across synagogues by those of their rank for practically every week. However, they choose their traditions(doctrines and dogmas of their religion) over what was stated verbatim in the Scriptures. As Jesus Christ of Israel point 🥱🥱 5. Wrong! Jesus Christ of Israel did not come to set the record straight. He came to usher in the End of Days(the final judgment of the YHWH of Israel against the people of Israel for their continued violation of the Law of the land) as promised in the Law and the Prophets before Him. 🥱🥱 6. Nonsense! The Pharisees began killing the prophets long before Jesus Christ of Israel showed up on the scenes. They knew they were against the Law and they felt that by killing the messengers sent by the YHWH of Israel, they could destroy the curse or at least keep it from falling on them. Yes, they wanted to elevate their religion above YHWH of Israel and they believed that they could accomplish it by killing even Jesus Christ of Israel, who actually told a parable explaining what the plot of the Pharisees was, and how there plan was bound to fail. 🥱 1. Then He began to speak to them in parables: “A man planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug out a pit for a winepress, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenant farmers and went away.Right there in the passage, he explained that the goal of the Pharisees was to usurp the Father's kingdom. Recall they are described by Jesus Christ of Israel as the violent who take the Kingdom of God by force. The same parable is also found in Matthew 21 vs 33-46. Also, Isaiah told a similar story regarding the Vineyard and those tasked with keeping it in Isaiah 5 v 1- 10.🥱 7. Stop dragging the meaningless things of Nigeria into this. 🥱 |

But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." (QS. At-Tawba 9: Verse 5) According to what is quoted above did the young man accept Islam or criticized it? So how do you expect someone whose believe is in that book to view the killing of a critic of their religion as a bad thing?🤔 |

Kobojunkie:You are literally claiming that not only did Jesus Christ of Israel lie about upholding the letter of the Constitution of Israel, but that he magically manipulated the law by his own will. That is untrue this is your position or you have someone else on mind you seems to be attacking or I remind you of someone that you testing want to unleash your venum..calm your nerves. Maybe your previous discuss with someone else. Also you seem to be very apt at creating adjectives and verbs and qualifying someone else statements? ![]() You can do better. I wonder where I wrote these words.or where where your verbs and adjectives qualify my words. You tend to mis-represent and then you generalize to suit your narrative. If you don't understand my analogy, that's fine. You an call it as you like. But don't generalize it. |
| Re: Ugandan Pastor Bernard Mulongo Killed After Christian-Muslim Debate by chimex38: 6:36am On Aug 04 |
Kobojunkie:The right Interpretating of the law is necessary before implementation.... (Matt 23:23). Yet again, you present my saying Jesus interpreting the law means he's adding and subtracting. and thus lying. Your projections. How is Jesus setting the record straight wrong? in the context I used it? Just so you can pour out your own thoughts. This is your statement" "...the final judgment of the YHWH of Israel against the people of Israel for their continued violation of the Law of the land" Jesus setting the record straight by telling them of their wrong doings and making them aware of the law. (unnecessary arguing with words) I already stated earlier that I interpreted some of the Pharisees actions on the law as unknowingly. Especially with reference to that adultery case earlier. While you admitted that they knew what they were doing. They just wanted to manipulate it. and I stated it as an observed difference. I forgot to write you were right here. I was using the adultery case to generalize. The focus of my discuss is on the ordinary jews citizens and the law. Not the Pharisees Vs Jesus. But my analog, which unfortunately you don't seem to comprehend and thus dismiss with your signature adjectives and verbs touched on this.. With the Authority and power of HR scribes, I usually assume most of the lower court judges, synagogue, local customary community leaders of the jewelry were headed by Pharisees and scribes and saducees. So they influence how the citizens use the laws. Again using Nigeria as example. Assume the Police, Lawyers, Judges, clergy are all Pharisees and scribes How many times do citizens in good conscience help a emergency citizen on road accident. There's that fear that you will be tagged as as culprit, arrested and imprisoned. Even if the constitution says help someone in need or report to police, the judges, police and priests could mis-represent the law to their advantage, force bribe from you, change your statement and jail you as the culprit.(imputing their own law and traditions) Before you know it, a full generation is born who don't assist accident victims. Until "Jesus" comes to challenge this mis-representation and interpretation of the scripture on the innocent citizens who were merely offering help while the main culprit is at large. and ask them to investigate justly exactly as the law stated. |

| Re: Ugandan Pastor Bernard Mulongo Killed After Christian-Muslim Debate by Kobojunkie: 4:42pm On Aug 04 |
chimex38:1. The problem with the analogy is that it does not compare to the issue being discussed at all. Nigerians are a completely ignorant bunch, who don't even know their left from their right; while the Jews of Judea were not ignorant of their laws. The average Nigerian does not even know or understand how their government works; however, the people of Judea, 2000 years ago, knew well how their government worked and where to go for justice in the land. Nigerians, from a young age, are not engaged in civic education, whereas children in the ancient land of Judea were trained from childhood through their synagogues and even the temple on what their Law says and also the ins and outs of the Books of the Law. Jesus Christ of Israel, we are told, was at the temple at age 12; he ended up engaging the priests of that time in discussions regarding the Law(the Constitution of the nation) and the Prophets. So, there is no way that an analogy comparing the understanding of ignorant Nigerians regarding their tax laws would compare. 🥱🥱 2. This a matter of you being grossly ignorant of the Law and Jesus Christ of Israel. There is nothing to agree or disagree on here. To know what is in the book, you would literally need to abandon religion and its many lies. 🥱🥱 |
| Re: Ugandan Pastor Bernard Mulongo Killed After Christian-Muslim Debate by Kobojunkie: 8:22pm On Aug 04 |
chimex38:1. Telling them of their wrong? Matthew 23 is literally Jesus Christ of Israel laying down curses on the Pharisees. How could he be mistaken to have been tellling them of their wrong when he is, in fact, recorded to have laid down curse after curse against the Pharisees and hypocrites of his time? Make it make sense! 🥱 Also, the Law of Moses literally says that the Pharisees were to implement the Law AS-IS(no interpretations allowed). So, why in the world are you living under some delusion that there is such a thing as a right interpretation? 🥱🥱 2. The ordinary Jewish citizens, of whom the disciples of Jesus Christ of Israel were from, were not ignorant fools as you would like to pretend. Those of them who cared for upholding their Constitution frequented their synagogues and engaged in their national traditions and festivals. So, they were not totally unaware of the details of the Law. Sure, many of them had altogether abandoned the Law to follow the religion of the Pharisees instead, but it was not wholly out of ignorance of the Law. What happened was as prophesied both in the Constitution and through the many prophets that came before Jesus Christ of Israel. Read Deuteronomy Chapter 31 vs 30 & 32 vs 1 - 43 to know the song that was passed down for generations of what would eventually befall the Israelites due to their rebellion(not ignorance) against the YHWH of Israel. 🥱 3. I seriously hope you take your time to read the Constitution of the ancient nation of Israel for yourself so you can basically rid yourself of these false assumptions. The commandments and statutes in the Law never removed responsibility for upholding the Law from the individual. For instance, the 10 commandments literally lay the burden of keeping the law on the individual, and not on the state(the Levites or the Pharisees). 🥱 14 “And the Levites will say to all the Israelites in a loud voice:That is why, if you look at where the curses that were laid out for the breaking of the law, you would find that the curses were mostly applied on an individual level and not on the law enforcement arm of the government/establishment. Their judgment would have remained separate had the people chosen not to rebel against YHWH of Israel, too. 🥱 4. Again, this is terrible. The Constitution in Nigeria DOES NOT mandate that strangers come to the aid of accident victims. It is not illegal or criminal to ignore accident victims in Nigeria. So, bringing that up in this case shows you remain disconnected from the point being made here. 🥱 Also, corruption in Nigeria began not merely at the top but also from the bottom up. What you have today is a result of decades of people at the lower levels turning a blind eye to injustice everywhere they could, and this is what has helped make the situation seem near impossible to tackle since. The ordinary Nigerian is most of the time just as corrupt as those in higher offices, and looks forward to his turn at the national cake, as we like to call it. And with no external agent to check things, it is a system that would eventually implode in on itself. This is not like the ancient State of Israel, which had a Constitution that ensured its destruction in the case that the people rebelled en masse against its Constitutional Law. 🥱🥱 5. Stop lying to yourself, at least! Jesus Christ of Israel never said that Nigerians who help accident victims are innocent citizens. That has nothing to do with the book we are discussing or any of what He was prophesied to fulfill. Nigeria was not a country on his radar... He proclaimed that He was sent only to the Lost sheep of Israel, and He never retracted that claim, not even when He sent His followers out to gather the Lost Sheep from all nations. 🥱 |
