blingxx:UK has been attempting the HS2 project for over 20 years now. Many American states and cities cannot fund such projects. |

I GUESSED SOUTH-SOUTH AND SOUTH-EAST ARE NOT PART OF NIGERIA. FOR ALL THE RAILWAY PROJECTS CONSTRUCTED BY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN THE NORTH AND WEST, YOU HARDLY HEAR OF ANY IN THE SOUTH AND IN THE EAST, YET ALL THE MONEY THAT FUND THESE PROJECTS ARE FROM THE SOUTH. GOD WILL JUDGE US |

mrvitalis:This is your mistake, all government in the world borrow money, they invest in infrastructure because without infrastructure the economy will never be great, the employment opportunities, the income, the advancement that comes from this is more than enough, Nigeria needs leaders that looks at the future, not someone who just stores the money and announces figures. Wealth is more than what you have in your bank account, this is the mistake most young people make, no land no investment, even when they make money from yahoo yahoo they go around buying iPhone and iPad like children. |

adaxme:So how will government raise your standard of living without providing infrastructure to make business thrive. It is the businesses that provides jobs that raises standard of living. |

mrvitalis:You didn't disappoint many of us, because once an Obedient - who see everything Wrong, except if it comes from them. You statement is nothing short of Noises,so it is allowed. But Nigeria has since moved,so Rest,Mr Man. |

sparko1:1) you are already in deep waters. Revenue is less than debt service + recurrent expenditure and you think the best way to spend out of that is to invest in infrastructure that can’t ever break even not to talk about make profit ? Can you tell me exactly how this rail would help us 1) pay the loan used to construct it and help the revenue recurrent expenditure + debt service ratio that’s already bad |

| Re: Completed Part Of The Kano-Katsina-Maradi Railway Project by sparko1(m): 2:41pm On Aug 04 |
mrvitalis:This is stale, I already outlined the benefits, no country in the world is completely free of debt, improving the way of life of the people is more important, even if Nigeria stop all projects for another 20 years we won't pay of the debt, thinking otherwise is just a false perception of security. |
| Re: Completed Part Of The Kano-Katsina-Maradi Railway Project by mrvitalis(m): 3:13pm On Aug 04 |
sparko1:Having debt is not an issue Debt service to revenue the real issue Stopping this project would reduce debt service Nigeria is in big trouble with people thinking like you I swear You guys treat debt as revenue with no plan to pay back At this rate $1 to 5000 is a matter of time this is sad really sad |
| Re: Completed Part Of The Kano-Katsina-Maradi Railway Project by ArcFresky(m): 3:27pm On Aug 04 |
mrvitalis:Rubbish. This is a loan that aids development, i.e movement of Goods from A to B. It will reduce the cost of good, reliance on petroleum, lower cost of petroleum. The bad loans are loans to pay salaries, build bridges in places with lower traffic |
| Re: Completed Part Of The Kano-Katsina-Maradi Railway Project by mrvitalis(m): 3:49pm On Aug 04 |
ArcFresky:How exactly will this train repay the Loans |
| Re: Completed Part Of The Kano-Katsina-Maradi Railway Project by sparko1(m): 7:33pm On Aug 04 |

| Re: Completed Part Of The Kano-Katsina-Maradi Railway Project by Mubiola360: 8:08pm On Aug 04 |
mrvitalis:you are saying rubbish with confidence. I wish i have the time to school you thou. May i ask? Should FG stop all these projects and just be paying salaries? |
| Re: Completed Part Of The Kano-Katsina-Maradi Railway Project by mrvitalis(m): 6:35am On Aug 05 |
Mubiola360:No you stop them n invest in things that can improve revenue That’s investing in your people and their business in industry that have shown strong comparative advantage We gave dangote $7bn he has paid it back , created 1000s of jobs , and created a company that pays more tax You do this for other industries till Revenue becomes greater than debt service +recurrent expenditure then the balance is used for infrastructure |
