A year ago, I was monitoring the tax bill rumbling in Kenya, that was before they started their protest, when I saw the movement, I was like didn't president Ruto has loyal supporters to defend him and also enlightened people about the bills, then I realized that most of his loyal supporters are mostly paid or having something in expectations

In president Tinubu's case, his loyal supporters like me are not affiliated, associated with any political party or politicians, not really interested in the politics money or political position, not influenced by tribalism just the believe in the capacity of president Tinubu amongnst others showing face

Such beliefs and ideology can't be bribed, bullied or blackmailed. We are doing the support for the progress of the country and we are not relenting.

The support for president Tinubu is waxing stronger on a daily basis.

How much do you think some of us can be paid? Apart from the Governor, President, NASS Members, our monthly paycheck is above any other political office holders monthly checks (I mean real allocated salaries). Millions of Tinubu supporters don't need penny from any body. We aren't talking of City Boys Movement ooooo.

I've seen what the man has done as a governor, I have seen what he has done with AC, ACN, now APC .

I have seen the development he has brought not only to Lagos but to the entire country. I love his leadership skills and that's why I continue to support our president.

How is the omission of vital information on his credentials have anything to do with governance and leadership?

Are the bishops expecting hands out towards the 2027 election or what precisely was their complaining about? That the decades old rots of things in Nigeria should be solved within 4 years?

So if I don't support Tinubu, is it Atiku and Obi that can't handle ordinary party issue I should support. That Obi in particular that has been contradicting his own beliefs, being incoherent to questions to things he has been condemned

There is absolutely nothing wrong in having genuine support for a politician or political office holder.

The issue is trying to defend or justify what is wrong and attacking those who deem it necessary to critic or question those in power.

A lot of people complaining about the poor socio-economic performance of bat are not doing so because they like obi or atiku, they are doing so because they are shouldering the brunt of the so called reforms while the political office holders and their cronies bask in opulence.

They are complaining because there seems no end in sight for the suffering...

They are complaining because the very issues bat used in condemning the pdp, he is doing worse and wants to be praised.

They are complaining because bat and his cronies have turned a deaf ear to the cries of the masses.

They are complaining because those around bat are creating more ethnic divisions rather than healing the nation.

They are complaining because insecurity is at an all time high and the government seems less concerned beyond the rhetoric and propaganda.

They are complaining because the government borrows billions of dollars but the funds are not having a significant positive impact on the masses.

They are complaining because the so called legacy projects are done without due process and awarded mostly to cronies directly connected to the President.

They are complaining because jobs are in short supply and SMEs are barely surviving...

They are complaining because some public workers are owned salary arrears going to 3 years, wage awards, and other entitlements...

They are complaining because the future of the children are being mortgaged under the guise of nelfund. Parents can no longer proudly sponsor their children to school but rather depend on government who will chain the children down when the time comes.

They are complaining because the president has refused to be open about his past, but wants to control the country’s present and future.

So, it is not just about supporting bat or not, it is about ensuring the government works for the people... regardless of who is president, such a person must be held to account and must be accountable to the people.

There is no contradiction. The opposition has not claimed to be different in calling out the incompetence of bat on National issues. What is different is the government's intolerance to being called out for its failings.

And the apc has worsened the socio-economic condition of the masses. That is not in dispute.

I agree with the op and that's what I keep telling people. If you believe in something, an idea or a capacity, it will be difficult to change, no matter how many people you offend.

The opposition is not used to what is called loyalty; they find it difficult to believe that some of us can stand by what we believe in. They want everyone to come online to cry as they do.
