While Musk envisions a future where the technology could eventually enable infrared, ultraviolet, and even radar-like vision, the initial versions are expected to provide low-resolution visual perception, with significant rehabilitation required, especially for people who have been blind since birth.

Neuralink's Blindsight has already received the U.S. FDA's Breakthrough Device designation, accelerating its development as the company continues expanding human brain-computer interface trials.

Honestly, when I saw that 400 million naira news, I was very pissed. As in, someone has such money to spend on nonsense while our research and tech institutions are in financial famine.
