In actual fact, Especially Local govt chairmen should be proactive because most of this issues are seen in our immediate environment daily. Hold your Local govt chairmen and area police DPO responsible for such misdemeanor. This issues should be taught about very carefully . Nigerians have been wired and unwired to misunderstand how things work or should work. Some people might blame tinubu & sanwoolu. But they never abuse whoever is meant to have the responsibilities to maintain their local Area as mentioned above the LG chairman & DPO. |

Not only Lagos. If a big musician performs in any Yoruba city, he will not be able to leave the place without giving the local boys who are his fans something unless he is surrounded by body guards. If he tries to leave by force, he will be assaulted. So as a known and popular musician, go with body guards and also allocate money for your fans. It happens only to music stars and no one else. Other HNIs are not harassed. They live among the people freely. The big marketers that sponsor the stars are not even harassed in such a manner |

In actual fact, Local Government Chairmen should be more proactive because many of these issues occur daily within our immediate communities. We should hold our Local Government Chairmen and the Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) in their respective areas accountable for such misconduct and failures. These are issues that require careful thought. Many Nigerians have been conditioned to misunderstand how governance and responsibility should work. While some people are quick to blame President Tinubu or Governor Sanwo-Olu for every problem, they often overlook those who have the direct responsibility for maintaining law, order, and proper administration at the grassroots level. Accountability should begin where the responsibility lies. Local Government Chairmen and Area DPOs must be held responsible for the conditions within their jurisdictions. |

Bros .. it will shock you to know that apart from normal nurtw and rtean agbero . Some LGA and LCDA chairmen have their own agbero who stay at inner city roads and streets taking money from keke maruwa and bike drivers . This owomida attitude isn't going anytime soon because the people to correct it are actually their enforcers |

You see that street begging, it's one thing I hate with great aversion. The way and manner in which those guys do it makes for sad reading. I once bashed somebody's car mistakenly. While we were there trying to figure out how to remedy the situation, those miscreants numbering about 10 approached us. They became the judge and jury in that case. After every every, they were now billing us both. Na so me and the guy change am for them. Our cooperation on that subject scared them, las las, shishi we no pay because other road users joined to chase them away. I just shook my head at the level of lawlessness that Lagos state government has encouraged. The only thing left for these urchins is to be invading our homes and be demanding for monthly protection levy. Shebi the government is acting deaf and blind to this menace. By the time lawlessness becomes the order of the day, perhaps they will address the issue. #Picks_tooth |

Streamz:Yeah it is a cultural thing, I agree with you. Poverty has made it worse. Also the glorification of alayes, their empowerment has has made them role models for the youths, Mc oluomo, sago, koko zaria, that brute, kunle poly, the big gold chain wearing one from ogun state etc, those are who those youths see as who they want to be when they grow up. APC has destroyed the fabric of society. Come to Akowonjo roundabout in the evening and see young men with long sticks stopping trucks and trailers demanding money and breaking side mirrors if they are not given, funny thing is that it is next to a police checkpoint and local government headquarters. |

It’s sad, I was rounded up by this boys on the island around 1am, they asked for money and I told them I don’t have cash, the next thing, they started hitting my side mirrors. Lagos is getting scary every day. |
