I'm caught in two minds about Martinelli.

I personally think he's reached his ceiling and won't improve the team by much, but I can understand his impact as a super sub.

If for some crazy reason we're able to secure Vini then Gab will definitely be leaving.

Squad looks almost set, however the Oliver Twist in me still thinks we need backups for RB and LB. An additional forward wouldn't be shabby either.

Seeing White in last game and today shows he is past it for the level we are currently at..... And Dowman doesn't need to dribble everybody, he's killing our attacks

the defence is okay for today but you that midfield is the main problem, turning over possessions carelessly is not acceptable...

Guimares, merino, rice, zubimendi, eze, Odegaard, havertz somebody should check the head of arteta if everything is alright. Cos am trying to imagine how this bulk of players will play in the squad. He just sold norgard because Every year he keep buying players he cannot use optimally

Merino is more or less a striker. UCL , FA cup, EFL.
Havrtetz should be fine as sub.
Odegard needs rest..that injury affected him.

sometimes we interpret things the way we think we see it. Rice have said it in an interview that after that game he was talking to anyone but to himself. Matter of fact odegaard saw him bending down and came to uplift him before he said those words and odegaard patted his head and moved on. It was when odegaard approached him to get him back to his feet that he stood up.Odegaard and norgaard was the voice behind the scenes always lifting the players up. No discredit to who Rice is mentally, but saying he was telling odegaard "it's not done" to lift up his spirit is not really the narrative.

Rice needs some rest, Eze hasn't really shown he can play 90minutes day in day out in our system, Havertz is not a midfielder, it is evident that he doesn't impact the team when he plays in midfield, which leaves him in the striker conversation. Just like last season where fatigue got to Zubimendi and Merino got injured, we have to be prepared for any outcome.
