False brethren have always been around. Even Apostle Paul referred to them in the Bible.

There are people who are preaching the Gospel just to get paid, people "whose god is their belly"

It's another thing altogether to assume that ALL pastors are doing the same thing.

That's NOT true.

Personal Bible study is vital for spiritual growth. There are questions about life that no one can answer except GOD.

Charlatans go always dey, but they do not invalidate the Truth...

Here is Jesus teaching about resolution of dispute between two Christians

Mat 18:17:
"And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it to the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be to you as an heathen man and a publican."

The Church is the assembly of at least two people worshipping God as Christians: Jesus promised to be with them

Mt 18:20:
"For wherever two or three are assembled in my name, I am there with them.”"

First of all the place of meeting religious leaders of Christendom refer to as "CHURCH" is in error so it's not a building that is called "CHURCH" in Bible times rather it means the congregation.

Secondly Jesus gathered his disciples to instruct them so that is what true Christians are doing till today in our place of worship known as KINGDOM HALLS (not CHURCH)

Lastly the scriptures Jesus read wasn't given a name back in his days instead each book was named after the writer it was centuries after Jesus and his disciples have gone that the books were compiled and called BIBLE which means LITTLE BOOKS!
