I really love this your reply to that atheist, everything to them is just fallacies.

Christianity to them is like a myth, false idea or even a mistaken belief till it will dawned on them that it was really never an assumption.

I used to tell people these statements including my family;
It's better I believe, trust and hold on to God and die and realise that there was no God, than to assume that there is no God and die and found out that there is indeed God.

If only He knew the type of life I was living before 2010, and how much back to back miracles I've got from Jesus to survive through the years, he'd surely want to eat his words back by now.

It really saddens me that some people that calls themselves Christians will just come online to attack another fellow Christian not even knowing what experiences the person have encountered and I believe they do this things just to suit their own self centred ego as if they are Jesus's mouthpiece.

Having an encounter with God does not mean conviction. Isreal did, yet they did not want Him, Solomon did and we all saw what he did, same for many others, even atheists too have had an encounter with God (even though they won't admit so). So encounter does not necessarily mean that you believe which is what saying those words mean
