⚡Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has continued trying to persuade Elon Musk to expand Ukraine's military use of Starlink, even after leaving office.

According to two of Fedorov's allies, Musk has refused, arguing that expanding Starlink's military role could escalate the war and saying that "it's time to make a deal."

Although Musk worked with Fedorov earlier in 2026 to cut off Russian access to Starlink by Russian forces, he has so far declined Ukraine's latest request to support strikes against Russian ballistic missile launchers.
