I thought I was the problem because I saw no issue with their request.

The only issue was the threats to scatter her show. Put the actual location or put Delta, given there have been frictions in the past.
She may slowly be damaging her brand locally.

Now, they are reminding her that she's neither Itsekiri or Urhobo. So how are you a "Real Warri Pikin"? grin

Nigerians and wahala.

Some Igbo people said it's cultural taboo to arrest your brother

So I shouldn't arrest who is stealing my children's future? Culture kill you dia
I don’t know where you got that from but that is serious misinformation. Siblings (brothers oh/ sisters oh) arrest each and litigate against each other wella.

Go to courts across the East and you will see brothers at each other’s throats because of inheritance, land issues..Wetin u think say lawyers take Dey chop for East? Most times na who hold bar fit oppress pass. Peter no fit use police oppress Jude nor Paul.

If Peter has strong evidence to back up these claims, he should go to court and stop this social media frenzy that is piling more dirt on an already stained last name.

If reconciliation through friends, family and associates isn't working then go to court and get your justice. Managing/ navigating sibling relationships no easy, especially, during adulthood.

The other day one say him don change birthday Abi na last name? They are all self-centered and immature siblings. When this one trend finish, dem go wait for another year to start their nonsense.

(Nwanne no put mouth o, I am using your post to address my brother-in-law)

Someone like Airmark who is a bgt but couldn't resist marrying a beautiful Igbo woman that gave birth to beautiful Igbo children for him.
What is bgt before i break bottles on your head.

Spy360:
But he is accusing Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour of not being pure Yourba
You are just like your political mentor who is a 'lie merchant'.

I was accusing Chnedu Rhodes-Vivour of being irresponsible trying to lead the same people he called many denigrating names. I won't give birth or support such disrespectful kid.

Nothing is going well for this man at all, the football we use in consoling ourselves is now rubbish too.
None of our various level of football is going to World cup, the falcons stop putting effort because they know if they win the trophy again nothing will come out, the audio money promised last time wasn't paid.

Hope they don't kill him before any rescue attempt can be made.

For them to have kidnapped him, they definitely know they will be hunted down. Let's hope it is not terrorists that want to make a point with his kidnap and they don't care whether they live or die.

Where was he kdnapped ?

I remember when people on this thread were defending agberoism in Lagos, with some saying Tinubu was a genius for institutionalising it, that permitting organized shakedowns prevented them from graduating into armed robbery. Today the same Lagos government is crying about the culture that was nurtured by Tinubu...maybe they missed the whitepaper from Tinubu, Raumdeuter and Ibime on the merits of agberoism.

There are Nigerian states with poverty deeper than what you have in Lagos, but you won't see agberoism and street begging normalised at this scale.

What a society rewards, it gets more of...Lagos chose to normalize and reward agberoism, and they've gotten it in abundance.

The bold part of ur post is why I never agreed with their strawman argument back then and even now. They make it seem like the only option available is for Agberoism to be institutionalized in Lagos or else crime rate will be out of the window. It's a shame!

Thank you nwannem. You have arrested your brother and you have a matter in court now that you instituted but whenever you are called to the stands, you are always conveniently out of the country on tour, the court has seized Jude's passports and he cannot travel because of the matter, So why all this social media show when you know you have the evidence to nail your brother, initially he said he never received a dime from the Jude but the Jude showed evidence of the 60/40 payment cheesy. See ehn as I got to the part where he started crying in the video, I vex off am. cheesy Jude sef uselllleeess, employing scum like Very Dark Man to come to his aid, now VDM alias Martins Okoye has even given Nigerians more ammo against the greedy Jude

Other States have gone into full time kidnapping with just 2 million people

Agberoism now is better than in the 1990s in Lagos where they obtain you everywhere despite absorbing 20m people from other states and that's mostly due to the institutionalisation of agberoism and redirection of their vices into tax collection, providing some structure and accountability to criminal elements

It has been an outstanding success. It doesn't mean Lagos will absorb the whole of Nigeria from other failed states and continue to maintain levels of relative sanity

You always make reference to 90s as if that's the only time people exist.

it is more the fallout of the clowning on SM you were celebrating the other day
where yeyebrities post their made up and inflated wins for any stranger to see
add the olodo uprising and the monetization of broadcasted pholly where people throw money at you for hailing them
show a video of yourself being dashed money for hailing a guy in a car, and the next day, there will be 10 people gathered at the same spot
everyone will try to get in on the easy money and start harassing anyone in an expensive car
and from there it will trickle down same way kidnapping did - from oyibo expats to your everyday nigerian

it is that simple.

hopefully the authorities are seeing this and will clamp down. sanwo unfortunately imho is a little too soft in matters like this. we saw a variant of this in the post end sars looting.

The Obi investment of Anambra money in his company today is said to be worth next to nothing

Criminals adapt to the crimes their environment permits.

Lagos' dense population, traffic situation, heavy policing and lack of viable escape routes makes kidnapping a logistically difficult enterprise. It's the same reason you find even in state's where kidnapping happens, it's often on expressways, rural areas, or semi-urban parts of the state. The criminals in Lagos didn't get an orientation at the border when entering the state, they saw what was feasible and adapted...plus they get to enjoy institutional backing.

There are people that write papers praising the almajiri culture up North, so you drumming support for a culture that's designed to make beggars and thugs of able-bodied men is no surprise.

Where did Obi work after NYSC that he left blank on the INEC form
Are you asking a sensible question or you're forming petty ignorance?

Peter Obi didn't work, he was a business man. He calls himself a trader. His wealth is traceable. He sells stuffs, all his life. With which he built a rental apartment while still a student. In that apartment, the current Sultan of Sokoto was his tenant during his soldier days. Both of them are alive and very successful.

Obi built businesses, and own companies. He was the youngest chairman of a bank, Fidelity. You don't make someone bank chairman unless he has good public acceptance and a great deal of character.

Have I answered your question?

Or are you going to ask me which state Peter Obi was a former governor too?

That's too petty coming from someone I used to have great respect for. You are shaming me sir.

You're seeing Ibime making an argument for why Lagos institutionalized agberoism...miss me with this cop out.

Lagos is not the only state with olodo's in Nigeria for it to have a begging and agberoism culture that's at the same level with Northern states where street begging is culture.

They say she is Ijaw, but never identifies as an Ijaw woman.

She prefers to cancel the show, refund thousands of people than to print another flyer with the correct location. That is peak manipulation, and for someone who makes a lot of money MC'n events in NigerDelta, she is indeed ruining her local fanbase.

someone wrote that the white man has monetized ignorance

that is what has happened here

'spotting' where you hail someone in a flashy car has been broadcast and monetized
so just the same way nigerians jump on any quick money trend and scatter it - this is what has happened here.
when that clown was live streaming windscreen smashing - what went through my head was this is how if we are unlucky this will catch on and random commuters windscreens will start getting smashed for internet views

the variable here is the clout chasing social media clowns who have normalized ,monetized and viralized being paid to be a nuisance
