So politics in Nigeria is trade by barter. I serve you to get personally rewarded. Now I understand the motivation behind some of the unbelievable positions on this forum. It's all business.....not about the people. Some of you folks don't care one bit the situation of your country. It's al political contracting.

That is why in the 27th year of 5th Republic democracy we are still talking about the basics for what makes for life and decent living. The thermometer of development remains a flat zero.

People should stop collecting money and inducements from politicians in all parties , so you can hold them accountable and stop them from weaponizing poverty. You are worth more than 20k and Rice... If you don't collect they would have no excuse to steal before the Lord ..but now if the Lord ask them they would say they're giving to Caesar what belongs to Caesar.

Not only normalizing but institutionalizing crime. The EFCC wanted to move against the State's finances and almost everyone was up in arms when it was clear as daylight what the governor was doing with the resources of state.

That is what thick headed Nigerians cannot seem to grasp. What works will keep working. If we keep on collecting they will deepen and accelerate the 'weaponization'.

Said it many, many, many times. Democracy works like a force field and you hold your elected office holder in a flux. If he begins to fail you immediately switch to the other, if that fails you switch, based only on deliverables.
